hey there, so as you may know life's been kicking me one curve ball after another. my room has a leaky roof window directly above my bed which caused a maggot infestation. the landlord has been no help and i wasn't able to use my room for weeks right in the middle of final exams. we disinfected what we could but replacing the mattress, bedding and pillows took over 200 dollars.

just a couple days after moving back into my room, it turns out the pest control did not do their job properly and there were maggots in my bed again. we don't have the money to get the room professionally cleaned and cleaning everything ourselves is difficult because we don't have the tools and we're in the middle of a shitty week long rainy winter where we can't even do laundry.

on top of this, i also caught a bad respiratory infection and the medicine and lab tests cost around 200 dollars more, not counting the follow up appointment i have tomorrow. im trying to claim everything on my insurance but they are really dragging it out and im out of funds. the little money i had saved up for next semesters tuition is gone too and my living conditions have gotten so much worse and abusive in the mean time.
