i think rachel gets vulnerable when she's really off her head on whatever. drunk or high. but not to the point you'd know about it if you werent exceptionally close to her. and even then you might not know. chloe passed out next to her in bed, and rachel's sitting up a bit, running a hand through her hair. telling chloe about how scared she is, about how much she wishes she could tell chloe everything. trying out how 'i love you' sounds when it's said without a flirtatious comment right after to lighten the mood. not being sober gives her the freedom to think about herself, for once. the real rachel. whoever that is, anyway. she can try to pry her own image away from the faces she puts on for different occasions. she can never quite figure herself out, but she thinks she gets close on those nights. it'll probably all come together whenever she can finish that letter. yeah. it'll unravel and get easier then. she just has to be patient.

*taps mic* Is anyone out there still reading Amberfield/Amberprice/Amberpricefield fics? I'm currently rereading my WIP since it's been THAT long since I've updated and I need to know that there are still people out there that are still sharing this brain rot with me.

Don't get me wrong, I still plan on seeing this fic to the end but sometimes it's hard not to feel like I'm writing into a void.
