Think for a moment, if you will… Back to Unova where the two heroes of Ideals and of Truths clashed… Each fighting for their own beliefs… What if N Harmonia had won…?
N won, separating human and Pokémon, however some trainers went underground (Sinnoh) or underwater (Hoenn), even caverns (Kanto/Johto) still training secretly. A world where pokéballs are banned and trainers are considered ‘evil’
Can you defeat the king, or will you side with him?

Large explosions at Spear Pillar have occurred and strange and near unexplainable things have been happening all around the world of Pokémon… or, actually, the worlds of Pokémon!
Reality itself has fallen out of whack, causing alternate dimensions to fuse together. Though this world may seem like the one you know, you may actually be treading on its counterpart! You may meet faces that seem familiar, yet became different by existing in an alternate timeline. You may even meet yourself…!
The distortion of space can affect anything and everything. People could be deposited in other places in their own world or in another. Even whole buildings could meet the same fate. Two regions may temporarily intersect at a point and entire realities may overtake your own. The most unstable realities may appear only fleetingly, but could change everything you knew in the blink of an eye…
Top professors from around the worlds are looking into the cause of—and solution to—this crisis, but until the pockets of distortion are fixed, anything can happen. But what the professors do know at this point is this: The exact explosion has occurred in the same location in every universe that we know of so far. The previously mentioned Spear Pillar.
"that we know of so far"? Why yes… without any definitive evidence, there could very well be more universes that are overlapping without us knowing it! So keep an eye out and be on your toes for anything that seems out of place. Any information is vital in fixing this— no pun intended— universal crisis!
Of course… you don’t have to follow the professors’ actions so blindly. You may choose to keep it to yourself or investigate it on your own. Maybe you don’t even want the problem fixed at all, or perhaps you didn’t even know about it until now! It’s your choice.
Pocket Distortion is a Multiverse Pokemon Masterlist that grows as long as its members do as well. We accept characters from the Games, Manga, and Anime both normal and genderbend… and if we gather enough people that RP frequently, we can also add other types of AUs to our list!
Rules, Lists, and Forms are located on the right of the masterlist blog! If you have any questions that aren’t addressed in the FAQ, feel free to bring them up!

The male protagonist from Pokémon Stadium's application has been accepted!
Region: Unknown (Possibly Kanto or Johto!)
Universe: Game universe (Though he is from Pokémon Stadium, so it may not be the true Gameverse)
Personality:
Penn is cunning and is a capable battler; don’t let his childish appearance fool you so easily!
Penn is also kind of mischievous and loves using his tactics and mysterious demeanor to mess with people.
Penn is somewhat childish; he likes “playing” with other people and horsing around, being carefree and irresponsible.
He’s somewhat sheltered and without boundaries. Put him in his place if he needs it!
Penn doesn’t like being yelled at and his emotions are somewhat sensitive.
Because he’s immature for his age, he also doesn’t take well to people older than him pushing him around. He can be prone to fits.
Bio: Penn’s history is largely unknown, aside from the fact that he had been orphaned at an early age and was left in the care of older siblings. As such, his background is incredibly poor and not that wealthy. He took a great interest in Pokémon battling early on, as White City where he lives is a huge hot spot for battles and battling facilities, including it’s massive stadium. As soon as he became of age, he rented Pokémon from the facilities to use, and after learning some secret analytic techniques from his brothers, swept the battle facilities with relative ease. He even conquered the ultimate challenges the Gym Leaders and other such rivals posed at the Gym Leader Castle. As White City faded from people’s memories, so did Penn’s interest in participating in their battle facilities. He’ll visit the outside world at any chance he gets…!
Extra: Penn is gifted with an extraordinary ability to quickly scan any given situation with his eyes to pick up visual cues and deduce opponent strategies from them, being able to counter accordingly. If one were to catch him in the act though it’d be ruined.
He also doesn’t own a single Pokémon of his own. He only battles with borrowed or rented Pokémon.

Chime-mod's Housekeeping vol.1
Hey there! Here, have an image I made last night.
Thanks for joining Pocket Distortion... unless you haven't yet and you're just following this blog because you want to, in which case, hey there come join us! Clef-mod and I started this group just over a week ago, and I'm really excited to see it get off the ground so well! Thank you, everyone who has already joined! Obviously, there wouldn't be much activity if you all weren't here.
That said, this is titled "Chime-mod's Housekeeping", so I have a few things to note.
First of all, a few clarifications. Sending in your application should be done before you create your blog. If, for whatever reason, we decide not to accept your application, you're gonna look pretty silly with that well-crafted blog! You should also submit the app from your personal blog (if you don't have one, we'll understand). It helps us confirm that it's the same person who reserved the character. It'd be terrible if someone made a blog for the character and stole your place! Anyway, the most important notice: when we accept your application, this does not mean we've accepted your blog. After you've completed your blog, send us an ask from there saying you're ready. I'm seeing people start roleplaying after they see their application in. Glad you're eager, but we need to know you're ready with the blog so we can add it to the masterlist. (Plus, it gives you a chance to snark at us in-character, and who wouldn't?)
On a lighter note, we have a totally-serious all-business no-foolin' Skype chat going on! If you're a member of Pocket Distortion and you want to join the chat, shoot us an ask and one of us will add you in.
I'm really excited to see you all interested in our group, and I'm impressed with how creative you all have been so far. Don't forget to spread the word to all your adorable friends, and sit tight-- we're thinking of having an event soon!

Game!Rosa's application has been accepted!
Personality: For most people, their first impression of Rosa is usually rosy, cheerful and sweet. As time goes on, they tend to notice that the sugary outside conceals the not so sweet centre. She often resents girls she thinks are prettier than her - she uses her bitterness as a cover for her insecurity.
Bio: She grew bored of living in Asperia City at an early age and as soon as she was old enough, she left to travel Unova. She grew to be a proficient battler, but didn’t care about challenging gyms, instead finding thrills in battling likeminded trainers. Since then, she’s been battling everywhere, mainly sticking to the Battle Subway, PWT, and the White Treehollow/Black Tower. In between battles, she frequents Pokestar Studios and shoots movies there regularly, considering herself a “successful actress”.
Extra: She’s grown used to battling in environments like the subway and tends to reject random battle challenges. Basically she’s NPC!Rosa that you can team up with in the Battle Subway Personal Blog: hrhisaac

Game!Cheren's application has been accepted!
Character Name: Cheren Daskalov
Region: Unova
Universe: Gameverse
Personality: Cheren is a serious, cerebral person who tends to spend a lot of time trying to rationalise the actions of those around him. Since he was young he's had trouble understanding anything that seems to him unfair or illogical; he compartmentalises the world and the people around him into Good (brave, selfless, kind and strong) and Bad (cowardly, selfish, apathetic and weak) boxes, and finds it difficult to come to terms with anyone who fits into the latter box. In his eyes, following the events of Pokemon Black and White - especially his having let Ghetsis escape - this second box definitely includes Cheren himself. He's determined to better himself but also feels that perhaps he's just an inextricably bad person, and this causes him endless anxiety.
In spite of this, Cheren is an essentially good and gentle-natured person with a bright and open disposition. He is a little naive despite himself in social situations and often doesn't catch onto subtler jokes, but is earnest, genuine and good-humoured in his interactions with others.
He's well liked by his students (especially the girls!) and gets along well with them. Cheren likes children and gets along well with them; this coupled with his lifelong compulsion to learn and share his learning means that he really enjoys his job.
Bio: Cheren was born, two months premature, on the tenth of January 1996; the only child of highschool sweethearts Boris Daskalov, a labourer, and Ivy Hong, who quit her job as a retail person after his birth to look after her son. Growing up, Cheren was bookish, shy and easily frightened due to poor health. All of this made him an easy target for bullies. But while Cheren was too afraid to defend himself from this bullying, preferring to take shelter in his books, there were three kids who'd routinely stick up for him - namely, Touko, Touya and Bianca, who he'd known for most of his life and became closer and closer to. He didn't want to be pitied or thought of as inferior, however, and because of this he fixated on the notion of strength - the strength to protect his friends, to be worthy of them - and the position which personified it, the Championship.
With this in mind Cheren threw himself into preparations to become a Pokemon trainer, with every intention of becoming a prodigy. His beige and middle-class parents, neither of whom had ever trained Pokemon, were mostly supportive of the journey they saw as a rite of passage - if a little befuddled by their son's intensity. He was expected to let his travels run their course and then return home, to school, where he would take on a respectable occupation like his father's.
Unfortunately for Cheren, he was not a prodigy, and found that battling did not come naturally to him the way it did Touya and Touko. The fact brought him months of self-deprecation and sleepless nights, especially when it became clear that he would not be instrumental - even significant at all - in the battle against Team Plasma, who so flummoxed him. It seemed unfair to him that Touya, who had no such grand intentions, who had always been bright and strong and capable, would become the chosen one. Admiration, jealousy, adoration and resentment formed a toxic cocktail and after Touya's departure overseas Cheren found himself feeling hollow and depressed.
He spent the next two years in strenuous training and deep contemplation and was able to let go of the ideals he'd held onto through childhood, acknowledging that perhaps he would not become the hero of a fairytale but by remaining himself there were ways he could bring hope and protection to others. The Pokemon League contacted him eventually with a job offer and shortly thereafter he became the teacher and Gym Leader of Aspertia City's Gym and Trainer School, where he works himself far too hard but enjoys the responsibility immensely.

Game!Green's application has been accepted!
Region: Kanto
Universe: (strictly) Gameverse
Personality: Green is a cocky little shit. He’s good at what he does and he knows it. His manner of speech is often snarky and he’s not above taunting his opponent if he thinks he can get away with it. Generally, this won’t stretch into his interaction with people he’s close to. The more you get to know him, the more he mellows out, though he will indulge in the occasional round of banter (especially if he’s around Red). The thing is, Green feels a constant need to prove himself to others, and by acting the way he does, he makes it easier for himself to mercilessly beat up someone else. The pressure of having to live up to other peoples’ expectations (most notably his grandfather’s) has left him with a reckless streak that can really get in his way sometimes.
If you catch him during one of his more mellow moods however, he’s actually a pretty cool guy. He cares about his Pokemon a lot, and it shows (though it took him a while to understand that they were more than a ways to achieve his goals). While he takes his job as a gym leader very seriously, at heart he’s still a wandering trainer, so it isn’t uncommon to find him everywhere but at his gym when you actually need him.
He comes off as unintentionally flirty at times, which makes it hard to tell when he’s actually purposely being a flirt.
Bio: Not much is known about Green’s past in canon. It’s assumed that he’s an orphan, raised by his older sister Daisy and grandfather Samuel Oak.
However, he’s been friends and rivals with Red ever since they were very little, which is something he takes very seriously to this day.
Most of his early childhood was spent helping out his grandpa around the lab, taking care of the Pokémon and cleaning up around the building. It really cemented his desire to want to become a Pokémon Master, so when Oak called him in to fill out the Pokédex, he was really excited and raring to go! Cocky as he was, he didn’t think he needed anyone’s help. He could prove that he was capable enough to handle it on his own. All he wanted was his grandfather’s recognition, since he lacked that of his parents.
His progression was smooth, all the way up to Cerulean, where he encountered Red again and, lo and behold, got defeated for the first time. He was shocked, and determined to get better, and not be defeated again. However, as Red continued to keep besting him, he became more reckless and cared little for his Pokémon, his want to become the strongest blinding him to what was really important. It wasn’t until his Raticate suffered the consequences that he took a step back.
His reign as the Kanto champion was short-lived, as Red came in not long after, and kicked him off his throne. The fact that his grandfather actually came to compliment his rival and chastise him put a huge dent in his pride, never mind his confidence. He felt incredibly put down, and even held a grudge against both his friend and grandfather for a while. Yet, the fact that his Pokémon had duked it out beside him all this time made him determined to become a better trainer – for them. After another solo travel session, lasting about two years, he stepped up and took on the job of the Viridian City gym leader, as the gym had been officially abandoned for a while now. Ever since, he’s been diligently doing his job.
Hell, he even got invited to the Pokémon World Tournament, how rad is that.
Extra:
Green is 19 years old
His only known family are his sister Daisy and grandpa, prof. Oak
