The cubes for Outlet Presents: The Network. This is a scale model of the set. The real deal will be 40% larger, stand 20ft tall and 32ft wide. I'll upload renders of the concept sketch here shortly.

Sooooo this might just be the most amazing software for Kinect that I've seen to date. I've been mucking around in Quartz trying to make half of this stuff work and here someone has already done it all for us!

Working on the set and visuals for an upcoming underground that I'm doing an active video environment for.  So far we're going to have two of this structure flanking the DJ booth left and right.  They will be 5ft tall. Made up of 4 2.5ft cubes. I decided on flipping the set from the original rendered angle 180° to expose a more dynamic surface structure with more visable depth. Past the set we're planning on having a Kinect installation. It will be run through synapse, a osc Max patch, and VDMX for triggering and controls. There will be a few different sketches, one that draws lines based off of hands, one that displays a mask of you and changes the background of the projection based off of where your hands are on a color wheel. Might add a few more than that in if we have the time but we're coming up on our deadline quick here as the gig is next weekend and we're all busy with gigs all weekend.
