I just discovered Benedict Cumberbatch's amazing voice and was overjoyed to find your Benedict Cumberbatch Audio-Porn-Master-Post. Unfortunately, all the links are down. Is there any chance of getting any of them reuploaded?
I'm afraid not! We weren't hosting all of them and the girl who was in charge of the majority of them isn't doing it any longer. However there are a lot of links still up around and available for Neverwhere, Cabin pressure and the Niago Marsh audiobooks 'Artists in Crime' and 'Death in White Tie'.

Benedict Cumberbatch and David Tennant’s Mansfield Park to mark Austen anniversary.
The Sherlock actor and former Doctor Who star both appeared in the 2003 Radio 4 adaptation of the celebrated 19th century novel
It’s a match made in TV heaven but with enormous careers both sides of the Atlantic, you’d be hard pushed to get Benedict Cumberbatch and David Tennant together nowadays. A decade ago it was a different story when the lesser-known pair united for a Radio 4 adaptation of Mansfield Park.
Starring the Sherlock actor and Doctor Who star before the roles that made their careers, the 2003 retelling of young Fanny Price’s story is to be dug out of the archive to mark 200 years since the original publication of Jane Austen’s celebrated novel.
Also starring Tim Piggott-Smith (The Bletchley Circle), Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) and Julia McKenzie (Miss Marple), the ten-episode drama will begin airing at 2:00pm on Radio 4 Extra Monday 12 May.

Thank you for recommending us!
prideandprejudiceandcheese replied to your post “PODFIC REC POST pt 1/?”
THANK YOU for this! Maybe I’m just inept but I have a hard time finding podfics.
OMG I CAN HELP WITH THIS!! This didn’t even occur to me but is an excellent idea to address. First of all, you’ll be wanting to go to the audiofic archive and roll around in the Sherlock tag like Scrooge McDuck in money— this site is brilliant!
And then, to keep up with new stuff I follow a couple of rec blogs here on tumblr— podficcery, fuckyeahjohnlockpodfics— and also a number of podficcers (though I’m sure there are so many more I should follow). As I listen to more stuff, I have also started subscribing to particular people on A03. Consulting Smartarse is a podficcing MACHINE and runs a lovely tumblr as well; finnagain and axemeaboutaxinomancy are both fantastic readers and very prolific lately with just the greatest material; and innominerosae posts loads of podfic recs.
Tumblr media
I’d love to hear form other people on this topic— I can’t make a reply a question apparently but message me! I’ll put together a better list.

Podfic Pull The Stars From The Sky by Roane
http://archiveofourown.org/works/1305043
It’s the fall of 2000, and to help him out after his military career has ended due to injury, John Watson’s sister Harriet gets him a job as US tour manager for rising star of the industrial scene and enfant terrible, Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock’s not long out of rehab and there are plenty of doubts as to whether he’s serious about recovery. Plus, the music industry is shaking in its boots over the Napster mess. All John has to do is keep the money coming in and make sure his star doesn't screw things up. After the army, that should be easy, right?
Ch1-4/11 are up already.

Deliciously you no longer have to wait for the PILAR multi-voice team to get organised and go on as dudeufugly has been recording a fresh new version and is about 120% more likely to get it finished :D
Chapters: 13/21
no outtakes this time.
This chapter holds a special place in my heart. I really hope I did it justice.

Hi, this is one of my favourite stories and i would love to listen to a podfic of it. Will there be any more of this?
Okay, this lonely little anon has been lurking in the Podficcery inbox for some weeks now. But "this is one of my favourite stories" doesn't narrow the field at all. The assumption is that you mean "Performance in a Leading Role," but I'm not sure any of the rest of the cast want to come back. I've been poking Sherlock on Twitter and not getting a response, and I dunno where our John is these days. We also need a sound editor. If any of our original cast see this, could you please get in touch? Failing that, if anyone else is interested in stepping in, that'd be handy too.
...Buehler?

Dear hearts, are you OK? Besides missing your posts, I'm hoping all is well, and you are simply terribly busy with real life. Much love to all.
We're all fine! Life is just busy and something has to be put to one side- unfortunately this is that thing!

Fandom: Sherlock
Author: Messageredacted
Reader: Fayjay
Length: 1:10:02, 10 351 words
Rating: Explicit (for violence)
Summary: “Of course there’s going to be another victim,” Sherlock says. “The sniper isn’t done here.”
“How many will there be?” Lestrade asks.
Sherlock goes for the door and John hurries after him. “It depends what the sniper is trying to say.”
Review: Gee, has it been a few days since I recced a Fayjay fic? Better correct that. This is one of my favourite pods, even if it is pretty short. It’s a case fic with a deadline and snipers and Sherlock being brilliant and John being a target and I really enjoyed listening to it. I don’t think the R rating is really necessary, but I’m respecting the author’s assessment here.
Fayjay is a gorgeous reader, and she does a phenomenal job with the story here.

Fandom: Sherlock
Author: Out_there
Reader: Podlizzie
Length: 2:34:54, 24 575 words
Rating: Teen+
Summary: After John’s released and back home at Baker St, Sherlock still feels it. Down the centre of his chest there’s an ache like a healing wound. A physical awareness of a body he usually ignores as much as he can. It’s psychosomatic, nothing more interesting than that. (Set directly after S1, and written without knowledge of S2.)
Review: This story is sort of a soft lament for Sherlock’s peace of mind, and an homage to the relationship he shares with John. It’s sweet, and intimate. Sherlock’s mental recovery is uplifting and satisfying, and the care given by Mycroft and John is lovely.
Podlizzie has a nice voice, and is very clear and expressive.

Your 'A cure for boredom' podfic links are not working. :( Also am wondering if you would know when chapter 3 is coming out? Thanks so much, I love them a lot!
I can try and get those fixed over the weekend and will post something if I have to move them. As for Chapter 3: I honestly don't know. Life has gotten in the way and so should the opportunity arise to make more, we will. But for now we cannot.

I notice you have John Finnemore's Souvenir Program downloads: You say there you'll take them down if they go on sale. Well, they're for sale! I can't put links in but search Amazon co uk, for instance. I'm not Finnemore but a fan of his and I'd like him to get money for his comedy. Thanks if you can!
No problem!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the link to the 8th part of the Raj Quartet isn't working. I can't find it anywhere else, and I'd really appreciate it if you could put it up again!
Sorry we have no idea! The person who originally put them up is now being watched by BBC interns now, monitoring Sherlock coverage and I personally never got around to downloading the original 8th part.
