Thanks for your support and comments and questions this past year, but we've decided to give up on the Swan Queen podcast in light of recent disappointments like Comic Con. 

While the canon status of a ship is no barrier to shipping it, we mostly don't feel comfortable promoting and supporting a show whose cast and actors can't treat a f/f ship as just one of many options for the show - they hold up every interaction between m/f characters as canon intent of potential romance, but not the far richer material between Regina & Emma. Adam has shown on twitter that their idea of catering to the LGBTQ audience will (by implication) be no more than a token character at some nebulous point in the future. All these things in conjunction make it problematic to endorse the show any longer.

So whether you watch or you're quitting, whether you're mad about this stuff or not, we thank you for the laughs and smart debate this fandom has provided.

Tiff, Kristen and Lola discuss the events of OUaT episode 2x10 'The Cricket Game'. Don't worry, most of the sobbing was edited out. We've fixed our sound issues! This is a much clearer and crisper recording now.  We also discuss Once in relation to other shows, so beware spoilers for the end of LOST, and a brief comparison to Glee and the X-Files. A lot of fun was had recording this one, so we really hope you'll enjoy listening.

A live episode is just too costly/too much of a commitment for us at the moment in terms of scheduling, so that'll be on the backburner for a while.

Episode 2 Announcement

The second episode where we discuss all things Swan Queen will be available on Friday 16th November at 6pm EST (11pm GMT, 3pm PST, 12am CET, etc).

In light of Emma's backstory and all things wolf, fandom has been very chatty about our two favourite girls, the direction the show is taking and what our amended hopes and fears for season 2 are. Lola, Kristen and Tiff will be joined by this episode's special guest: Kelsey (awomanontheverge), and as a panel we'll be taking on The Great Swan Queen Separation, how much everyone is over the word 'suitor', and perhaps a splash of Red Beauty just to sweeten the deal.
