Halloween Special

I like that they were looking at reference photos right at the start, so they know what they were doing. I like that fact they using too the make it more detailed. I like the fact they have created there known little armature the to create the beast on it. And i like the fact that they are sewing the fur to the body i think it looks really cool. and i like that they used a different material for the the horn and the claws. And it looks extremely creepy.

Sculpting Monsters

I like that they do some sketches first of different kind of animals and even different kind of breasts. I like the fact that he used foam to create the shape of the monster or creature i think its a really cool idea just to get the back shape down. I like that fact for the the details for the head they have used foil. i like the fact he uses tools to make it more detailed on the monster. He used clay to do his monster. Which i think it looks super cool.

How To Create The Creepiest Diorama?

I think the fact that he drew a sketch of the actually design before he even started to make it. I like that he uses tools to make the indents on the actually chatter of a monster burger and i like that he bakes and paints each separate individually which is cool because you can actual put the monster burger together your self. and i looks really realistic. and very creepy.

Magic Design

For a game to work i thing it needs a set of tasks for the game to be able to be playable and it and it has to have an original design. And i think people when they designs board games nowadays they just keep going for the same designs that other people have came up with but they changed it in some way. I think the people should come up with new ideas of board games.

Magic Gathering

The game Magic is an Gathering is a trading card game that has combined the strategy and fantasy. The premise is that you play a powerful wizard, called a planeswalker, who summons creatures, spells, and weapons to aid you in your destruction of other planeswalkers. I think its kind of like D&D game.

Board Game Font

There has to be a certain font for the board game to work because you are advising the board game to the entire world so it has to looking appealing and presentable. And it has to function well with the board game.

This was the boringness thing I have every watched and I did not understand single thing of what it was about.

Creating the box for the board game and digitising the board game

For the box of a board game, the name of the game Squid and Sails. I made a sea and waves which I think it looks cool. I used blocked a colour of a blue then I added a new layer I did some squiggly lines then I did some white squiggly lines then I used the smudge tool to make the waves look cool. Then I added the boat I already created and I added the squid I already made I think it looks cool and I like how it turned out.

I used the photoshop file I already had that I used for the lazer cutter. I made the boarder of the board game I made the colour like sand and I think it looks so cool. Then I made the Sea with waves to make it look realistic. Then I used the same colours and how I did the other boats which it looks realistic and it looks it been there for ages. Then I used the same colours of pink that I used to make a squid.

I added some font to the box for the game and i used dafont and i picked out the magic land font. i created a bubble behind it so i could actually see the title.

I like how both of them turned out.

Modification on Board Squid and Sails

I created some cool tentacles on photoshop, I only made couple of tentacles. And I add to the board for the game then I added boats to the board game. Then I transferred onto illustrator and I did an image trace for it. So the lazer cutter accepted it and I like this one better than my other one was really boring and I wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t paint but I did varnish it. I did use a wood stain. I think it makes it look older.

Baking and Painting Process

I baked the squid model about 5 mins. And that was enough time to cook because it has foil in it. I created a darker shade of pink to block the squid with. Then I made a lighter pink to sponge the lighter pink. But I had to be extremely careful to sponge the tentacles because they starting to crack the tentacles. So I had to super glue the tentacles back together twice.

ColouringThe Boats Or Ship In

I did make a worksheet of boats, but I scanned the worksheet in to my email. Then I placed it onto photoshop and made a digital version of it because I thought it would look cool to make a digital version of it. I started to make a new layer and traced around the boats and cleaned the boats about a bit. Then I started blocking the colours on the boats. Then is started adding darker details to make it looks realistic. I made the inside of the boats darker. I used a splatter and texture tool to make the moss or mould around the boats with I think it looks cool.

Squids suckers and add more texture

I used different types of scupley to define the squid texture even more because when you add a darker colour and it will go in the indents and I think it will make 3D looking. To make the suckers i rolled up tiny ball then I made the indents with a tool and the a circle ball at the end of it. I didn’t make sucker for all the legs I just make for ones that needed it so it makes it look cool. Then I added cresses on the on some of the legs to make them look larger than they actually are. And I think it looks so cool and it would look even better when they are painted.

Squid Drawing In Digital Changed Design

I used the original design I just changed it up a bit because I didn’t like the way it looked so I changed it and it looks much better. I tried a couple of different heads on the pink squid and I only liked on of them and I think it suits it. I made the tentacles of the squid a bit closer together than it being spreader it out and not that close together. I made the squid quite bright pink and I think you never really see a punk squid which is cool. For the squid colours looks quite good because it’s a different ranges of pink. I think it looks quite evil with a red mouth. But I love how it turned out.

Final Touches To The Squid

I redo the flappy on head because I didn’t like the one that was originally there. Then I made the eyes more bulkier so it looks the eyes stand out. Then I fixed some of the legs because some of the legs were cracking. I think it looked kind of looked boring because it didn’t have smiley face. So I put a smiley face on it so it looks a bit more interesting.

Squid Games

I have watched the squid games before and it’s a really good series and I would recommended to watch it. I like the fact that these series are to do with gambling and it shows it in their series.

Process - Photographic paper

This was my first time using photographic paper. I used different types of materials to draw on the photographic paper. The materials I used beard cream and Vaseline and so sort of cream. Some of the materials work better that others. Then I put it through three different liquids and then I took it out and dried it off and put some colours on it.
