Barely knowing each other
Obvious advances
Desires transparent
You now reside in my dreams.

Bloody blistered hands
touching ancient, rusted tools
never holding you.

Tundra
Esoteric mind
Discarded, rotting inside
This cold heart still beats.

Cyclical bonds that cannot be destroyed
Your souless actions leaving me purely devoid
Caught up in your net, some fish can’t escape
Leaving my life, soul, and body to take
Everything wiped, cleaned straight off the bone
Staying around cynical to avoid being alone.

Love at first sight.
Our eyes locked that day
Newly formed unbreakable
Toxic chains can’t melt.

Sex to fill your internal gaping void
Overwhelmed by the way you speak
Using my body, my mind, paranoid
Lonely desolate weak.

Justify your egregious wrongdoing
Although I let you in
Deny instead of healing
Ecstatic thoughts deep within
Depressed by the outcome
Saddened to the core
Our love could’ve run through beaches and sun
Until I found out what’s in store
Lackluster apologizes bleed out lies.

Broken glass memories drift
Your ghost remains near.

Predetermined love
Out of reach; simply in sight
Never to be held

Day 13
My wife has been so giving throughout the end
The tundra barring fallout snowflakes is cruel
So I bless this meal, remembering that voice
And savoring every last bite of you.
Dave, and the kids!

With every minimal movement and noise
My end drew quicker
I only knew due to the creature’s smell
So foul, candy-like
sickly-sweet
A concoction of melting sugar and blood invaded
My nose began gushing hot liquid iron
It is already too late
It’s strikes in solidarity.

When I roam these empty halls
In the shadows, I catch a glimpse of you
Only a reminder that you live in in my mind
A ghost
Non-physical
I’m left with nothing to hold
Searching for a truth I know I shouldn’t find
Scouring this mortal plane
All for you.

Pet
Human, but treated as canine
Longing for a return, pure isolation
Aware of the pain that follows with you
Despite these warnings, I’m left waiting
False
Hope
The worse thing one can give
Attempt to wake up, but this dream is reality
Accursed nightmare that I cannot escape
Ultimate demise; tragic fate.

The chain of love, eviscerated
Broken glass memories littering my mind
‘We’re not dating, okay?’
Bone marrow oozes
Iron invading nostrils
‘Why are you so insecure?’
Thought tornados wreak havoc
No switch, emotional pests grow overnight
Desiring love, not bickering fights
To heal, one must rid themself of all plagues and blights.

Suffer
Verb
To experience or be subjected to something bad or unpleasant.
Life is black
And full of pain
What grounds are these to keep one sane?
When expectations are already low
And a sense of false hope is the final blow
“You’ll find one while not trying”
All this bullshit makes me think of dying
At the end of the day I just wanted to cuddle
But apparently that demand is too much for a rebuttal
So I’m done, I’m done, so fucking done
What part of this life seems like any fun
No cuddles, no love, and all this work
It makes me want to go berserk
This is why life I hate
Because every soul has to bait
The carrot, the box, the string all here
Maybe my end of days in near
