Overwhelmed by the way you speak

Day 13

My wife has been so giving throughout the end

The tundra barring fallout snowflakes is cruel

So I bless this meal, remembering that voice

And savoring every last bite of you.

With every minimal movement and noise

My end drew quicker

I only knew due to the creature’s smell

So foul, candy-like

A concoction of melting sugar and blood invaded

My nose began gushing hot liquid iron

In the shadows, I catch a glimpse of you

Longing for a return, pure isolation

The chain of love, eviscerated

Broken glass memories littering my mind

‘We’re not dating, okay?’

Bone marrow oozes

Iron invading nostrils

‘Why are you so insecure?’

Thought tornados wreak havoc

No switch, emotional pests grow overnight

Desiring love, not bickering fights

To heal, one must rid themself of all plagues and blights.

Life is black

And full of pain

What grounds are these to keep one sane?

When expectations are already low

And a sense of false hope is the final blow

“You’ll find one while not trying”

All this bullshit makes me think of dying

At the end of the day I just wanted to cuddle

But apparently that demand is too much for a rebuttal

So I’m done, I’m done, so fucking done

What part of this life seems like any fun

No cuddles, no love, and all this work

It makes me want to go berserk

This is why life I hate

Because every soul has to bait
