7* Cinderace Overview
After doing a few Cinderace Raids, here is what you need to know about this bun! Builds for counters at the bottom. The builds at the bottom reccomend max HP or Def, but if you want to build exclusively for this raid, Defense gets more value. The move set is as follows: > High Jump Kick > Pyro Ball > Acrobatics > Iron Head Additional Moves: > Bulk Up
The turn 1 move is Bulk Up, this gives physical attackers a harder time than usual (including you Belly Drum users out there) so be mindful of its extra bulk and more destructive damage output.
Its moves are all hard hitting, so you will want a Reflect user, and potentially a Rain setter as well. While Cinderace doesn't synergize with its ability as much as Charizard did, is base kit and Bulk Ups still do provide a some impact.
What can you do? The primary solutions are bringing Pokemon that resist or are immune to these moves, Ghost types can be fine for HJK, Flash Fire for Pyro Ball, etc. I have found the greatest success with these Pokemon: Armarouge w/ Light Clay or Terrain Extender 252 Def (or HP) / 252 SpA / 4 HP ( or Def) Ability: Flash Fire Nature: Modest Moves: > Expanding Force > Lava Plume > Reflect > Light Screen
Armarouge seems to be the premier DPS for this raid, resisting HJK and being immune to Pyro Ball provides it with enough bulk (coupled with support) to plow through this raid's health with Psychic Terrain Expanding Force. Do mind you will need to set Terrain to use Expanding Force, and as such Reflect may take an extra turn to set up so if an ally can Reflect, that lets you DPS sooner. If you get low (or a teammate does) make sure to cheer heal, as all the cheers have priority.
Slowbro w/ Covert Cloak or Leftovers 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA Ability: Oblivious Nature: Bold or Relaxed Moves: > Chilling Water > Heal Pulse Two of: > Rain Dance > Psychic Terrain > Psychic
Slowbro, the dedicated support of the raid, individually doesn't do much, but enables the DPS so well, in the form of Chilling Water attack drops and Heal Pulse to keep the health up. Rain Dance can alleviate some damage from Pyro Ball, and Psychic allows you do deal some damage, but I personally would advise to just fully support your teammates. EDIT: Slowbro does not learn Reflect :skull:
Espathra w/ Ability Shield 252 Def (or HP) / 252 SpA / 4 HP ( or Def) Ability: Opportunist Nature: Modest Moves: > Lumina Crash > Feather Dance > Dazzling Gleam One of: > Reflect > Psychic Terrain
Espathra with Opportunist allows you to copy every Bulk Up the Cinderace does, providing a good bit of bulk. If you are running max Defense, you get bonus value from these Bulk Ups. Feather Dance turn 1 to make Cinderace less of a threat and then just focus on Lumina Crashing the bun into oblivion. If you get low (or a teammate does) make sure to cheer heal, as all the cheers have priority.
There are other potential builds with immunities and reistances like Skeledirge and Ceruledge, among others, but these 3 have worked best for me. Do let me know if you want me to tag on some more builds that may be more accessible to you!

Hello friendos, I have decided I want to try streaming casually on Youtube so I have a record of battles that I do. I will not be using my mic, nor will I bother monetising it if it ever arises, but if you want to come along and watch, give feedback, or give advice, do feel free to drop by! Streams will not have a steady schedule, and will likely occur when I plan to play some ranked; this will usually be on Thursdays through Saturdays. I wanted to try streaming on Tumblr Live as well, but the feature is yet to be available on desktop, so until then o7

0023 "Cinderace Raid Murderer" Armarouge
#166 Armarouge
Typing: Fire / Psychic / (Tera-Psychic)
Nature: Quiet or Modest
Ability: Flash Fire
IVs: 31 / ~ / 31 / 31 / 31 / ~0
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Def
Held Item: Expert Belt or Terrain Extender
Moves: Expanding Force / Armor Cannon / Psychic Terrain / Trick Room
Description: This Pok茅mon may be the highest DPS option for the Cinderace Raid that also has the most resistances and immunities. It's typing + Flash Fire gives it immunity to Fire, prevents potential Sucker Punch with Psychic Terrain, and resists STAB Tera-Fighting Moves. Expanding Force will deal an asston of damage with Tera-STAB-Terrain boosted Expanding Force. I plan to build this one as my main DPS for this raid, might eventually covert it into a VGC mon down the road as well! As you might expect, this would pair well with any Terrain setter so you don't have to waster a turn on the setup, as well as anything the helps its overall bulk.

0022 "Raid Cinderace Support #2" Indeedee
#241 Indeedee
Typing: Psychic / Normal / (Tera-Psychic)
Nature: Bold
Ability: Psychic Surge*
Held Item: Terrain Extender
IVs: 31 / ~ / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Moves: Psychic / Reflect / Heal Pulse* / Helping Hand
Description: Indeedee does have a lacking Defense stat (65 Female, 55 Male), but is the only Psychic Surge mon available in the game. With access to Reflect and Helping Hand, and Heal Pulse by egg move, Indeedee can act as a support that can potentially negate the effects of Cinderace's priority moves.

0021 "Raid Cinderace Support" Slowbro
#325 Slowbro
Typing: Water / Psychic / (Tera-Psychic/Water)
Nature: Bold
Ability: Oblivious
Held Item: Terrain Extender
IVs: 31 / ~ / 31 / 31 / 31 / ~
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Moves: Chilling Water / Psychic Terrain / Heal Pulse / Trick Room
Description: Slowbro is a choice that comes quickly to mind; it has access to Chilling Water, which is a solid support move, as well as Psychic Terrain, which could potentially negate moves like Sucker Punch (as priority moves don't work in Psychic Terrain) while also boosting the power of Psychic-type allies. Heal Pulse speaks for itself, and Trick Room can allow your teammates to go first if you know your team is on the slower side. Cinderace is pretty fast, so this may be useful to keep around. Oblivous can prevent the potential Taunt from Cinderace, if it has access to it. Ideally turn 1: Psychic Terrain, then Trick Room or Chilling Water as needed.

0020 "Raid Cinderace DPS" Gyarados
#135 Gyarados
Typing: Water / Flying / (Tera-Flying)
Nature: Adamant or Brave
Ability: Intimidate
Held Item: Expert Belt
IVs: 31 / 31 / 31 / ~ / 31 / 31
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Moves: Chilling Water / Terablast / Dragon Dance / Rain Dance
Description: This Gyarados is weird, but hear me out. Considering Gyarados gets no good Flying-STAB moves, Chilling Water can provide support until Tera is ready, allowing you to then Tera Blast until the rest of the fight. Not only does it have STAB, it also resists its 2 main offensive typings, Fire and Fighting. It would be ideal to have a support to keep HP up and Reflect active. It has access to Bounce, but this doubles the time (2 turns per Tera charge) to get Flying Terablast to be live.

0019 "Flinch Hax" Sawsbuck
#191 Sawsbuck
Typing: Normal / Grass / (Tera-Normal/Psychic)
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Serene Grace*
Held Item: Leftovers
IVs: 31 / 31 / 31 / ~ / 31 / 31
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 Atk
Moves: Trailblaze / Body Slam / Headbutt / Zen Headbutt
Description: Got some more meme builds rolling out; presenting flinch hax Sawsbuck. As the only hidden ability Serene Grace Pok茅mon in the gen and its serviceable speed stat, Sawsbuck can take advantage of moves like Body Slam to paralyze, and Headbutt/Zen Headbutt to roll for that 60% flinch chance every turn. That's it. That's the whole gimmick. They have a base 100 Attack stat, so they are fairly strong without investment, and if for some reason you have no-one else to Tera, you can do so to avoid your million weaknesses.

0018 "No U" Squawkabilly
#113 Squawkabilly
Typing: Normal / Flying / (Tera-Fighting)
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Hustle
Held Item: Focus Sash
IVs: ~ / 31 / ~ / ~ / ~ / 31
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpA (invest as little into bulk as possible)
Moves: Tailwind / Reversal / Parting Shot / Brave Bird
Description: Okay, here is my quirky idea. Max Speed and Attack, little investment into bulk, get the enemy to one shot you to 1 HP, get base 200 base power on Reversal with access to Tera for STAB, and bonus damage from Hustle :) I will play around with this soon >:)

Ability: Slush Rush (Doubles the Pok茅mon鈥檚 Speed when Snow is in effect)
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, - Sp. Atk)
Item: Life Orb (When this item is held by a Pok茅mon, the damage from the moves used by the holder is increased by 30%. The holder loses 10% of their maximum HP each turn) Assault Vest (When held by a Pok茅mon, it increases the Sp. Defense stat by 50% but requires the Pok茅mon to only use damaging attacks) Tera Type: Fairy
Moves:
Ice Spinner - Level up /聽 Icicle Crash - Egg Move
Superpower - Egg Move
Play Rough - TM
Earthquake - TM
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4 HP Cetitan is another Pokemon introduced in Scarlet and Violet that couldn鈥檛 ask for much more. It鈥檚 lucky enough to have two great abilities, very solid stats, and deep movepool.聽 I鈥檓 going with a Fairy Tera type to help Cetitan check threatening Fighting types. Combined with Play Rough, you鈥檒l take them down no problem (the pink highlights on Cetitan also make this an aesthetically pleasing Tera type IMO). Fire types would also threaten you, but Earthquake will make short work of those. Combined with Ice Spinner/Icicle Crash and Superpower, no Pokemon will resist your coverage.聽 Obviously this Cetitan needs Snow to be in play to get the most of its speed, which will more than make up for its subpar 73 base Speed. I鈥檇 recommend setting that up with another Pokemon, otherwise you鈥檒l likely be taking a hit to set up Snowscape. Cetitan is decently bulky, but I鈥檇 still rather keep Cetitan鈥檚 recommended moves to keep its amazing coverage.聽 The Snow weather condition also increases the Defense of Ice types by 50%, adding to Cetitan鈥檚 fantastic 170 HP and helping it survive as an otherwise frail type.聽 Cetitan could easily run as a full tank Pokemon as well. You鈥檒l want max HP, Leftovers, and Thick Fat to make the most of that playstyle.聽 Sheer Force is also a decent Ability for Cetitan. It increases the power of moves with secondary effects by 30% but removes those secondary effects. With Sheer Force, Cetitan could use moves like Icicle Crash, Play Rough, and Liquidation but personally I鈥檇 rather have the extra speed and bulk that a Snow team can provide.聽

0017 "Gotta Go Fast" Espathra
#264 Espathra
Typing: Psychic / (Tera-Fairy or Psychic)
Ability: Speed Boost*
Nature: Timid
Held Item: Focus Sash
IVs: 31 / ~ / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31
EVs: 252 SpA / 168 Spe / 88 SpD
Moves: Stored Power / Dazzling Gleam / Calm Mind / Protect
Description: Espathra is an interesting mon that can capitalize on a very fun strategy: Speed Boost + Calm Mind + Protect + Stored Power. Turn 1 you can Calm Mind, they will hit Focus Sash, you Protect next turn, be at +2 Spe +1 SpA & SpD putting Stored Power at 100 base power + STAB + the Special Attack boost is pretty hefty damage. 168 in Speed puts you fast enough to outspeed a +1 Dragapult by 2 Speed giving you q little extra special bulk if you didn't get Focus Sash to pop, otherwise you could just simply invest max Speed. Overall fun strategy, has potential to sweep if your opponent is not ready for it/doesn't have priority :)
Tera-Fairy can allow for the option to use Dazzling Gleam against Dark-types that are immune to Stored Power.

0016 "Windmill" Kilowattrel

#178 Kilowattrel
Typing: Electric / Flying / (Tera-Electric)
Ability: Wind Power
Nature: Timid
IVs: 31 / ~ / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31
Held Item: Focus Sash
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Moves: Tailwind / Volt Switch / Discharge / Hurricane
Description: This support set is pretty neat and I worked it out with a friend who used a similar build in doubles. Tailwind + Wind Power props the effects of Charge with the increased speed, allowing for a pretty safe Charge boosted Volt Switch, it deals a considerable amount of damage. There is probably a different speed investment that couples well with Tailwind, but if you don't want to do calculations, max speed will suffice.

0015 "I am a Rika Appreciator" Clodsire
#054 Clodsire
Typing: Poison / Ground / (Tera-Ghost)
Nature: Sassy or Calm
Ability: Unaware*
IVs: 31 / 31 / 31 / ~ / 31 / ~0
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Held Item: Leftovers
Moves: Earthquake / Curse* / Yawn / Recover*
Description: Attention all Clodsire and Rika appreciators, this is how I have built my lad. Max Special Defense allows for general special tankiness and Curse lets you set up on people that get too greedy. if you can pull off Curse Earthquake, that covers a good number of threats, and Unaware allows you to counter other set-up mons. Curse doubles down as a replacement for Toxic as well if you Tera-Ghost, as the effects changes for Ghost-types, and Yawn and Recover provide ample stall capability. You will likely want to max PP for EQ, and Recover at least, possibly Yawn if you catch them in a switch out frenzy. Leftovers are used over Black Sludge in case you choose to Tera :)

7* Tera-Dragon Charizard Raids Notes
Okay, things to consider: > Shell Bell moderately worth, it can heal you to almost full with a Belly Drum Play Rough on Azumarill with Max HP EVs and 31 IVs. Hurricane deals just under 1/2 HP to it. Loses consistent healing down the road but heals more overall than Sitrus. > Hurricane means you can't safely set up rain to take less Fire Blast Damage. > Solar Power means free life orb status but Hurricane misses more, so it's just going to use Fire Blast. > Misty Terrain is useless if you all have Fairy mons anyways, since it's only 2 benefits, status prevention and Dragon damage reduction are more or less irrelevant. >Sylveon with more SpD might be a strong viable option, Grimmsnarl support could help a lot too. EDIT: Grimmsnarl hands down the MVP. Feels very winnable with it. Just set up Light Screen turn 1. Am going to test to see how well Hatterene performs as support as it has screens and Life Dew. >> Feels like as long as you have some sort of screen setter that doesn't insta die, the raid is very beatable. That's all folks!
I think Azu is fine, but might want to consider a dedicated healer or something, definitely helps to have people to talk to and communicate with to cycle Heal Ups/Def. Ups Additional details by Serebii: https://www.serebii.net/scarletviolet/teraraidbattles/event-unrivaledcharizard.shtml
