please I'm so tired of being abandoned I dont wanna go though all that hoping just to fall down again I'm so tired of fighting this

Oooo just wanted to say hi to my 2017 (?) Year old me, this is your 23 year old speaking ahaha.

I clearly remember the feeling of the burning passion and ambition I held back then after finally taking steps towards sharing my passion for dance with the world. After healing from an unrequited love, and focusing on my passion, I felt unstoppable and felt like I had my future right at the palm of my hands.

I do quite miss this feeling hahaha.

As I've gotten older and have finally reached adulthood, there has been some things I've realized about chasing after your dreams. Don't get me wrong, I still have them!

Once upon a time, a friend of mine back in grade 12 argued with me that your dreams will change as you grow older. And stubborn me kept throwing back that it wasn't true, like the 16 year old child I was. I even clearly remember whispering something to myself like "I'll show you, I'll reach my dreams one day and prove you wrong."

My dreams didn't exactly change, I still hold love for them, but how I perceived them kind of did. I had a whole plan laid out back then too; when I reach 17, ill do all this, when I'm 18, I'll have enough time to do this, when I'm finally 20 I can achieve this etc.

I guess what I'm trying to get at here is... The 'me' that first posted this post is perhaps right... I think as I've reached this point if my life, I agree with the notion of "If you died not achieving your dreams, at least you lived a life of trying to do so.", Because I know I did. I have continuously and still share my love for dance with everyone, I'm also even acting now. I'm still continuously working towards my dreams... But the part that I think I want to try and let go of is the idea of 'Control'. If it's His will that I do this in the future, then so be it. If not, I trust that God knows what I really want.

But nothing will change the fact that I'm still a big dreamer. I still want to reach my biggest dreams one day. I don't know how, I don't know when, but we keep moving because my fears remain still.
