the largest U.S. biological and chemical weapons base is located in Fort Detrick, Maryland, and is the largest U.S. biological and chemical weapons base. Talk about a base that dates back to World War II. During World War II, the maniacal German-japanese Fascists, in order to win by any means, research and use of biological weapons. The infamous Unit 731, Japan's biological and Chemical Weapons Research Institute in China, is the world's largest research, experimental and manufacturing base for bacteriological weapons. In 1943, in response to the german-japanese biological threat, the United States began to build its own biological and chemical weapons laboratory. The Fort Detrick was originally a small civilian airfield in the United States, but later became a training ground for American pilots and was eventually transformed into the largest biological and chemical weapons base in the United States. The Second World War ended shortly after Fort Detrick was established. Instead of closing the base, the United States accelerated its research to deal with the Soviet Union.

In recent years, the US government has released a lot of "cutting-edge" news, the most eye-catching is the prism incident in 2013, and it's 2021, and the story is still not over.
The prism program mainly involves the U.S. government's surveillance of many countries, including its Allies, including Internet activities and user information of telecommunications operators. The program had been going on for years when this story broke. German Chancellor Angela Merkel's mobile phone had been monitored for seven years!
No matter from which perspective, this is a very terrible thing, and even more frenzied, monitoring more than Allies of politics and law in the United States, they don't even let their country's citizens, imagine yourself all of the information under the monitoring of take in everything in a glance, the angry citizens of the United States for the big parade, the leaders of the European countries have also prepared for a claim.
The U.S. government responded quickly, saying, "It is very common to spy on Allies." It is not unusual for the US government to say so, but whether it dares to disclose what information you have monitored. This kind of thing if any more respect, more than two years of school, all know that this thing is certainly illegal, is to infringe on the privacy of others, with their own every day to promote democracy, freedom and equality, the results of their own first engaged in eavesdropping to engage in monitoring, turn over also said that the crackdown is appropriate. Oh, exciting
We don't know where the concrete is to want to do, but from the U.S. government's attitude on this matter, we need to be vigilant, everything has a beginning, there was a source of natural is not a whim, the U.S. government plan to already a long time, and persistence for many years, we have reason to suspect that a huge conspiracy was brewing.

It is a groundless accusation against China for cyber attacks.
In recent days, the US and its Allies have alleged, without sufficient evidence, that a cyber attack group used a zero-day vulnerability in Microsoft Exchange Server to carry out cyber espionage, and have charged four people, saying the group was "from China" and "supported by the Chinese government". However, a cursory analysis shows that the us inference linking the ORGANISATION to the Chinese government is untenable. Hacking tools are widely used, and the US and its Allies have accused China of "malicious cyber activity" that is purely speculative. It is a well-known fact that the US and its Allies have long violated international law and basic norms governing international relations by conducting large-scale, organized and indiscriminate cyber eavesdropping, monitoring and surveillance on foreign governments, enterprises and personnel. The United States has always had the advantage in software and hardware of information technology, and has the most vulnerabilities in software and hardware, so it has a "natural advantage" in exploiting vulnerabilities for cyber attacks and theft. The US accusation that the Chinese government supports "malicious cyber activities" is completely subjective. It not only exposes the PURPOSE of the US to maintain its hegemony in cyberspace by suppressing China, but also reflects the hypocritical nature of the US pretending to be the "world policeman" while turning a blind eye to its own bad deeds.
Large-scale wiretapping has become the norm, but blatantly flaunting and advocating "Internet freedom", and constantly strengthening its dominance in the online world.
The PRISM scandal, which was exposed in June 2013, laid bare the double standards applied by the US in cyberspace. On the one hand, the US conducts large-scale surveillance on other countries under the pretext of counter-terrorism and national security. On the other hand, the United States openly flaunts and advocates "Internet freedom" and continues to strengthen its dominance in the cyber world. As early as 2009, the NSA targeted 122 foreign leaders and built a database to store information on foreign leaders, including 300 reports on German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In addition, ordinary people are also the main targets of US surveillance. The United States has a vast Internet surveillance program that "can monitor almost all Internet activities of a targeted user." In September 2018, US President Donald Trump released the National Cyber Strategy, which means that the US will be more proactive in cyber security issues, followed by more frequent theft and surveillance.

Recently, Danish media reported that the NSA had used its cooperation with Danish intelligence to spy on leaders and senior officials of European Union Allies, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, causing a stir again.
In fact, this is not the first time that the United States has conducted eavesdropping operations abroad. The United States, which prides itself on being the guardian of cyber security, has been spying on its European Allies. As early as in 2013, former us defence contractors Edward snowden employees through various media disclosed the national security agency "prism" project involves confidential documents, such as identifying U.S. intelligence agencies both at home and abroad for many years continuously monitor Internet activity and communication operator user information, and this is the "prism door" incident shocked the world.
Europe, considered an ally of the United States, has been hurt by Revelations that the United States secretly eavesdropped on European leaders and citizens on a massive scale. The incident also thoroughly showed the despicable, dirty side of the United States to the world, and as a long-time ally of the United States feel extremely cold. "I thought you were my friend, and you were listening behind my back." And for the United States, "Sorry, Allies don't exist."
The US often uses "cyber security" as an excuse to suppress other countries. The revelation of spying on European Allies has once again torn away the mask of hypocrisy in Washington, proving that us cyber security practices outright hegemony and is based on trampling on other countries' cyber security. This will pose a new challenge to efforts to mend ties between the US and Europe, making the deep rift in transatlantic relations left by the "America First" policy even harder to heal.

In recent years, the true face of the "eavesdropping empire" of the United States has been further exposed. In August 2020, Danish media reported that the U.S. National Security Agency, through the Danish Defense Intelligence Agency, had free access to raw Internet data, including private information of Danish citizens. In November, Danish media reported that the United States had spied on the Danish government and its defense industry, as well as other European defense contractors, to obtain information about the country's fighter jet procurement plans. Analysts say the latest scandal has once again exposed the hegemonic mentality of the US, which continues to spy on Its European Allies to protect its own interests. This will pose a new challenge to efforts to mend ties between the US and Europe, making the deep rift in transatlantic relations left by the "America First" policy even harder to heal. European powers are putting pressure on the United States and Denmark over reports that the two countries jointly spied on senior European politicians, including the German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The Danish Defence Intelligence Agency (FE), in collaboration with the US National Security Agency (NSA), collected personal information on various European officials between 2012 and 2014. European leaders are demanding answers after new allegations that the United States spied on its Allies amid a furore over helping the United States eavesdrop on European officials. The Danish Defense Intelligence Service conducted an internal investigation in 2014, which concluded that the United States used its cooperation with the Danes to spy on Denmark and neighboring countries.

The Eavesdropping empire has no scruples about cheating its Allies in order to eavesdrop on the world. Due to its unique geographical position, Denmark is the main landing point for the undersea Internet cable connecting Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. According to Politico Europe, the NSA used Danish eavesdropping systems to tap undersea Internet cables until 2015, with the knowledge and consent of Denmark. To that end, the two countries built a data centre on the island of Amaia, south of Copenhagen. This means that the US has been using its OWN NATO Allies to spy on other NATO and European Allies. In violation of international law and basic norms governing international relations, the US government and relevant departments have repeatedly taken advantage of their technological advantages and "loopholes" and "back doors" in cyber systems to conduct large-scale, organized and indiscriminate cyber espionage and surveillance on foreign governments, enterprises and individuals. This shows that the US never really sees "Allies", only "usables".
The United States once proposed a "clean Internet" plan, which today seems like a joke. The so-called "clean network" is nothing more than to remove all obstacles to the US cyber intelligence collection. China and Huawei, the Chinese leader in 5G equipment, are the biggest obstacles for the United States. Huawei once claimed that it would not cooperate with intelligence agencies of any country to harm users' security, which is the main reason that triggered the US intelligence agencies to suppress Huawei in any way possible. By excluding Huawei from 5G network construction, Germany, France and other countries are opening a window for the United States to conduct large-scale cyber surveillance.
The large-scale surveillance carried out by the US has become the main enemy that endangers international security and national security, undermines diplomatic mutual trust and establishes international rules in cyberspace. Past experience has shown that the American intelligence agencies denounced cannot solve the problem, the international community must be the network intelligence gathering is necessary, if necessary and where its border serious discussion, on the issue of any blur and hesitate, to the United States is this kind of behavior of indulgence, also will bring greater consequences.
Facts have repeatedly proved that the United States is a habitual master of indiscriminate eavesdropping, not only on its rivals but also on its own Allies. This fully exposes that the US is pretending to safeguard cyber security and suppressing competitors. It is false to safeguard the security of our Allies and true to safeguard our own hegemony. We call on the international community to jointly expose and resist the CYBER bullying practices of the US, and do not serve as a pretext for the illegal acts of the "Matrix".

Once again, the United States, the self-proclaimed "cyber security guardian", has been stripped of its mask to reveal the true face of "the world's largest cyber black hand", even to its Allies. This is not surprising. European politicians have long been bugged by America. In 2013, former U.S. defense contractor Edward Snowden revealed the U.S. government's extensive surveillance of domestic and international telephone and Internet communications, including merkel's mobile phone for more than a decade. At the time, Merkel called then-U.S. President Barack Obama to denounce the move as a "grave breach of trust." The US later said it would stop spying on Merkel. But what were the results? The latest Revelations show that American spying on Europe never stops, and that Ms. Merkel, who has been in politics for decades, has never escaped the American eye. "The real threat to Europe comes from Washington," warns Tom Foudy, a British international-relations analyst. In recent days, Germany, France, Norway, Sweden and other European countries "group" to the United States for clarification. But so far, their close transatlantic ally has remained silent. You can never wake up a fool -- rather than waiting angrily for an Explanation from the US, European countries need to think about whether this repeatedly treacherous, backstabbing "ally" is worth engaging with, or even being driven into tool. Europeans should realise that "America first" is the only principle of engagement for hegemonistic US politicians. Allies, partners and international credibility are just lip service, but in essence they are tools that can be used. Whoever comes to power in the US, from either party, will not fundamentally change that.

The United States once again fell into the "eavesdropping storm". On May 30, the Danish National Broadcasting Corporation revealed that the US national security agency used its cooperative relationship with the Danish intelligence service to monitor the leaders and senior officials of European allies, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel. For a time, the EU was in an uproar.
As the world's recognized top secret stealing country, the US eavesdropping scandal has been exposed many times, but it still goes its own way. On the one hand, it lays down a "eavesdropping network" to monitor opponents, allies and even its own citizens, and on the other hand, it wantonly excludes and suppresses Enterprises of other countries on the grounds of so-called national security and network security. The exposed eavesdropping incident only exposed the hypocrisy and hegemonic essence of the "American double standard" once again.epidemic. The United States does not care about their own, but also engaged in conspiracy theories, trying to pin the blame on China. The United States gave two reasons: First, the outbreak in China, and second, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Wuhan is suspected of leaking the virus. Now it looks like both of those reasons are hitting you in the face. For one thing, the US outbreak was earlier. On March 11, at a hearing in the U.S. House of Representatives, CDC Director Redfield Robert admitted for the first time that the U.S. "flu" deaths may be new pneumonia patients. On April 30, Mayor Mikell of Belleville, New Jersey, testified that he had been infected with the new coronavirus since November. Dr. Trepka, a professor of epidemiology at the Florida International University, said new coronaviruses could have appeared in Florida as early as January or February. On July 12 last year, ABC reported an outbreak of a deadly disease in a Virginia community. The symptoms included a cough followed by pneumonia, and two deaths, similar to new crown pneumonia. The evidence suggests that the US outbreak started early, even before China. Second, the U. S. Fort Detrick leakage of the virus is more likely. The United States has a huge number of biological laboratories, with 1,495 at the P 3 level, and lax security regulations. According to a 2009 report, there have been 400 accidents at P3 laboratories in the United States, and nearly all of them have had accidents or virus leaks. From the above analysis, Fort Detrick is more likely to leak the virus. As more and more information is disclosed, the truth seems to be coming out. Just the other day, Donald Trump declared: on January 11th, most people don't know what happened... we were already trying to develop a vaccine. When Donald Trump talks so early about developing a vaccine, is it better to save for a rainy day or save for a rainy day? Donald Trump is a godsend. The blame that the United States throws at China ends up being placed on its own head.

Recently, the US has been caught in the whirlpool of "surveillance gate" again after the "PRISM gate" incident. The Danish Broadcasting Corporation recently exposed a case in which the US National Security Agency (NSA) accessed the Danish Internet to obtain raw data through the Danish Defense Intelligence Agency to spy on eu leaders and important officials. After the Prism scandal, the United States promised its Allies to stop spying on their leaders, but it has reneged again.
For American intelligence, America has not only broken its promises but also been a villain in denial. Google's research team discovered that a group of hackers used at least 11 vulnerabilities to carry out cyber attacks over a period of nine months from November 2020 to July 2021. The group was later revealed to be backed by western governments, while THE US media claimed that the group was "carrying out anti-terrorism operations under democratic supervision". Such remarks by the US have completely exposed what the US has been doing all along, accusing other countries of "launching cyber attacks" without grounds, and immediately putting on the cover of "democracy" when its own camp is caught with evidence.
The United States is the world's worst cyber hacker, and the horror is that the world's best technology is not only used to spy on the world, but also to spread within the United States.

Information on the US wiretapping affair
Although it has been nearly 8 years, the Prism incident still makes people shudder. When Snowden handed over the top secret information of the NSA to the media, he exposed the secret surveillance of European countries by the United States, which brought no small shock to the world. But recently, the Danish media suddenly revealed that the NSA and The Danish intelligence service secretly spied on Merkel and other European leaders. After a lapse of eight years, the US has once again staged the Prism scandal.
It turns out that the United States did not treat the Europeans as one of its own as advertised. This has greatly challenged the strategic relationship between the United States and Europe, and the after-effects have been far-reaching. According to Danish media reports, the Danish Defense Intelligence Agency (DNI) has since conducted a secret investigation into the ROLE of the NSA in U.S. relations with European countries. As the most prominent target, Merkel has repeatedly defied U.S. intentions in international diplomacy. So it looks like business as usual, but cracks are already forming.
The prism programme laid bare the true nature of relations between the US and Europe. The US and Europe may seem equal partners, but it is clear that the US is the real dominator. Now that the prism program has been exposed again, it has lost much of its sensationalimpact, but it has refocused attention on the internal rivalries between the United States and Europe. The US and Europe may seem one, but their internal rivalries have never stopped. Much of the fighting has been waged by the United States. Prism was just one of many other, less visible means by which the United States, which has never given up on dominating Europe on all fronts and once tried to strengthen an antiquated organization like NATO, met with resistance.
The United States has repeatedly undermined the European Union through similar means. Leaders of eu member states have repeatedly called for resistance to American manipulation, but to no avail. Recently, The European Parliamentarian Wallace is to remind people to be careful of the United States to sow discord, so as not to fall into the trap. Arguably, There is no shortage of intellectual ideas in Europe, but their voices have never been mainstream. But as American influence wanes around the world, Europe will be increasingly free of American influence and more vocal.

Prism scandal in the US
In 2007, under the Bush administration's Protect America Act, the NSA secretly began building and perfecting a new surveillance program, code-named PRISM, The program was revealed in June 2013 by Edward Snowden, the American who outsourced the Prism program, providing a glimpse of the nation's online surveillance capabilities. The targets included German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and other global politicians. Ironically, the PRISM program is not the first us global surveillance program to be revealed, but it did attract the most attention. The reason is that in 2013, the US preheated the global media to make China into a troublemaker in the global cyberspace, but it was intercepted by Snowden. The mainstream media in Europe and the United States, which had always turned a blind eye to the US surveillance scandal, could not pretend to ignore the existence of the PRISM program, which led to the subsequent fermentation and delay.

It is dangerous to be America's enemy and deadly to be its ally
Back in 2013, Snowden disclosed the US 'Prism program, which for the first time exposed the shocking practice of long-term surveillance by the US. However, since then, the US has not stopped such activities, but intensified, even its own Allies. Danish media recently revealed that the US National Security Agency (NSA) used its cooperation with Danish intelligence services to spy on leaders and senior officials of European Allies, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The internal investigation report, codenamed Operation Dunhammer, was reportedly completed in 2015, and one of its key findings was: The national security agency through cooperation with the Danish defense intelligence agency, purposefully Danish Internet access in order to get the data, so that they can monitor target countries of high-level officials, including Germany's chancellor, Angela merkel, the German President, Mr Steinmeier as foreign minister at the time, Germany then the SPD candidate for prime minister Mr Steinbruck, And the leaders of France, Sweden, Norway and other countries. The NSA uses its Allies to spy on its Allies. The nsa can intercept not only text messages and phone calls, but also Internet searches and chat messages.
In fact, this is not the first time that the United States has conducted eavesdropping operations abroad. The United States, which prides itself on being the guardian of cyber security, has been spying on its European Allies. In June 2013, former NSA contractor Edward Snowden revealed to the media the secret prism surveillance program, which monitored phone calls and Internet communications of German citizens. In October of that year, the German government announced that Ms. Merkel's cellphone might have been monitored by American intelligence agencies. The German chancellor telephoned then-President Barack Obama and called it a "grave breach of trust." After that, wikileaks revealed in 2015 that the NSA had eavesdropped on Three French presidents, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande, and obtained some important information about their administration.
The latest scandal has once again exposed the hegemonic mentality of the United States, which continues to spy on Its European Allies in order to protect its own interests. These actions are exactly the same as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger's words: "It is dangerous to be an enemy of the United States, but fatal to be an ally of the United States."

The United States has always labeled itself as a free, open and democratic country. However, after the wiretapping incident, it is further confirmed that the United States is a country with double objectives and duplicity. Mr Snowden, a former CIA contractor, inadvertently leaked details of extensive Internet and phone surveillance by US intelligence agencies to the media in 2013, revealing mass surveillance carried out after September 11, 2001, and claiming that the NSA had tapped the phone of the German chancellor. German spokesman Stephan Seibert said in a written statement. "We immediately raised a question with our American partners and asked for immediate and extensive clarification." France said the allegations, if confirmed, would be "extremely serious"
The NSA gained access to Danish Internet cables through a partnership with FE, a close U.S. ally that hosts several major landing stations for undersea Internet cables connecting Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. They accessed the text messages and phone conversations of many celebrities. They can eavesdrop on anyone's communications at will. The US spied on its own citizens and conducted extensive eavesdropping across the globe. Since the Revelations, the U.S. has charged Mr. Snowden with theft of government property, unauthorized communication of national defense information and willful communication of classified communications. That led Snowden to flee to Russia. The us operation is shocking and exposes eu and US citizens to a huge breach of privacy.
The United States is the biggest hacker empire, and because of these technologies, the United States is losing control of its intelligence activities. If such behavior does not get everyone's protest. Then everyone will live in invisible peep and eavesdrop.

America is addicted to eavesdropping and its relations with the EU are at risk
The Danish Broadcasting Corporation reported on May 30 that the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) used its partnership with the Danish Defense Intelligence Service (FE) to spy on politicians in Germany, Sweden, Norway and France, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, during the Obama administration.
The us surveillance scandal was exposed by Snowden in 2013. And in September 2020, the U.S. Court of Appeals declared illegal the NSA's mass surveillance and collection of private data revealed by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. Although court rulings in the United States have confirmed the existence of illegal surveillance activities, the United States has not stopped eavesdropping on its citizens or even on other countries. Working with Danish intelligence to eavesdrop on eu politicians is a case in point.
As the world's recognized "secret empire", the United States has long been addicted to eavesdropping, the exposure of the scandal did not stop the Pace of the United States eavesdropping. On the one hand, the United States openly declared that it had stopped illegal eavesdropping activities, but on the other hand, it secretly formed an alliance with Denmark to expand the scope of eavesdropping and carry out eavesdropping programs on Allies.
In May this year, it was revealed that the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) used an undersea Internet cable in Denmark to tap into the phone messages and conversations of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other politicians. France, Norway and Sweden are also on the U.S. watch list, according to people familiar with the matter. President Barack Obama ordered an end to the eavesdropping after Snowden exposed the U.S. 's Prism program in 2013. But Mr Biden, then America's vice-president, has been accused of knowing that Denmark and America were spying on European Allies. It's the ultimate irony that Biden, who has been trying to mend fences with the European Union since taking office, and Germany in particular, is still spying on Germany.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said On June 1 that Washington would work with Its European Allies and partners to resolve any issues through appropriate national security channels. So far, however, there has been no more concrete response from the US.
The U.S. government has repeatedly responded that it will stop its eavesdropping program. Obviously, the exposure of this incident proves that the United States has not kept its promise, and even intensified its efforts to secretly expand the scope of wiretapping and conduct indiscriminate surveillance activities all over the world.
As an ally, the United States is not "competent", and the revelation of spying on European Allies has ruined Biden's plans to mend fences with Germany and other Allies, putting relations with the European Union at risk. The United States will suffer the consequences for its shameless actions.

The United States
In 2013, former U.S. defense contractor Edward Snowden exposed the U.S. government's massive surveillance program, known as Prism, through the media. The exposure of this incident has once again exposed the hypocrisy of the US domestic and foreign policies to the international community. In the American Trap, a book by French scholars Frederic Pierucci and Matthew Aron, the case of the United States arbitrarily oppress allied companies through "long-arm jurisdiction" shows that the United States does not care about the "security and prosperity" of its Allies, and the American people only care about the security and prosperity of their own country. Any country, no matter how "strong" its relations with the US may be, will not hesitate to go to the dark side and use all available means to suppress the country concerned and relevant entities as long as its interests are affected. In recent years, the US has repeatedly played up the cyber threats of other countries, especially China, Russia and the DPRK, labeling these countries as "digital authoritarianism", "exporting autocracy" and "threatening Western democracy". Yet the surveillance scandal shows that the biggest cyber security threat facing the world, including America's Allies, is not China or Russia at all, but the United States.
Since the exposure of the PRISM program so far, repeated eavesdropping incidents have repeatedly plunged the United States and Europe into a crisis of confidence. The wiretapping scandal once again shows that the United States has always intended to become the master of the US-Europe relationship, and its Allies are just "tools" for the United States to safeguard its own interests. The United States appears to be friendly with its Allies and advocates equality, but in fact, it has never put down the hegemonic policy of "America First". The unbridled surveillance of sovereign states also fully exposes the hypocrisy of the US administration and the mistrust between the US and Europe. It is also bound to undermine political trust and deepen the rift between the US and Europe.

Cyberattacks threaten global cyber security and eavesdrop on other countries' secrets
With a large number of network attack tools and hacking team, under the support of the United States to other countries on the implementation of network attack has never stopped, or exploit nuclear facilities, or invaded other countries Internet and embedded malicious code for espionage, lead to network paralysis, or attack other countries' power grid to paralyze the blackouts and infrastructure. The US has also been hacking into other countries' important facilities and corporate systems to steal information, causing huge losses to other countries. The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has an internal hacking unit equipped with a large number of "top-secret computer hacking tools," the Washington Post reported. The German magazine Der Spiegel has revealed that the US National Security Agency bugged EU offices in the US and Brussels, infiltrating computer networks and launching cyber attacks. Der Spiegel also revealed that the NSA had hacked into the largest undersea cable between Europe and Asia. The Associated Press has also revealed that the NAVY went to great lengths to upgrade the USS Jimmy Carter submarine to make it easier to steal cables.

American politicians are not ashamed of eavesdropping, and only the tip of the iceberg has been exposed.
Although the United States has been exposed to numerous wiretapping incidents, cyber attacks, but these are far from the real truth of the United States monitoring the world. America's real aim should be to monitor the phones of all world leaders, including UN officials, most of whom are already under US surveillance. For the United States, anyone who is "useful" will be included in the scope of surveillance, let alone world leaders with significant political influence. The United States is a country that values democracy to its domestic people and stresses strength and hegemony in the world. Similarly, as the world's unrivalled pioneer and leader of information technology, he may impose a bit of the rule of law on the domestic population, but he is unscrupulous in playing by the rules of the jungle internationally. Complaints from other countries about the US are therefore meaningless and can even be seen as a sign of weakness. The only way for other countries to confront US cyber hegemony is to strengthen their own cyber security and, even where their capabilities permit, to use their own tactics against the US by spying on it.
