this might sound stupid but I can’t help but believe that the new wave of “birth control is actually horrible for your body, you need to get off it immediately” misinformation from influencers and the ‘natural cycle tracking’ apps suddenly being advertised is a sneaky underhanded way of causing more unplanned pregnancies that people now cannot abort. now is possibly the worst time ever to turn towards ‘natural family planning’

I feel like chatgpt came around and everyone immediately forgot what they were doing to get stuff done before. like writing centers, extensions, extra help, templates, office hours, beta readers, random generators, and art and writing prompts have all existed for ages. even if you were cheating there's always been sparknotes, photomath, copying, paying someone else to do it, faking that your grandma died, and whatever. all of that stuff is more reliable and doesn't fuck over the planet. and you might actually learn something

sometimes I'll see someone express an opinion that's like, "anyone else sick of the colour blue. I mean it was fun at first but it's like, we get it, you like blue. "ohh the sky the ocean ohhhh" pack it up already. no one ever talks about orange or chartreuse" and then I'll be over here still enjoying blue thinking aww they're right, I must be stupid. and then my rationality smacks me in the head and goes wait this literally doesn't matter. it's fine for them to like orange and chartreuse and it's fine for me to continue liking blue.

I have some news for members of the united states armed forces who feel like they are pawns in a political game and their assignments being unnecessary.

You know we only ever really "learn" how to bathe in our youth as it is taught to us by our parents and from then on most people kinda just bathe the same way right. And like barring actively deciding to do it the only way most people change their bathing habits is if they bathe with a loved one and get convinced to do somethi g different in the bath bc its cleaner/faster/whatever bc of them. Ok heres the thesis statement. The lack of communal bathing in society is holding us back from discovering The Ultimate Bathing
