Rebuilding What Was Erased – A Message from Abedmajed in Gaza

My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

Among those killed were: 🕊️ My mother 🕊️ My sister 🕊️ My older brother His wife and their three daughters 🕊️ My uncle, his wife, and all their sons and grandchildren

We were left with nothing but rubble and grief. Yet somehow, my brother and I survived. And now, we carry the responsibility of rebuilding what was taken — not just for ourselves, but for our father, our surviving siblings, and the memory of those we lost.

This campaign is not just about survival. It’s about rebuilding a future — A family home, a shared life, a place where our father can rest safely, Where the next generation of our family can grow up knowing peace instead of trauma.

Due to the collapse of Gaza’s financial system, all donations are processed through my brother, who has a U.S. registered Stripe account. Funds are securely transferred to Gaza and distributed in cash here on the ground. We are transparent and ready to provide proof of every step.

What is your favourite historical rpf ^_^ ?

Im deep into philosophical RPF so first off Socrates and Alkibiades are the got the philosophically important yaoi ball rolling. After that Plato and Dionysus of Syracuse because fun fact: my ex is currently doing an MPhil on classics in Cambridge and plans to write a book a la Song of Achilles for them.

Post classics, the ones I like to rotate in my head the most are Machiavelli (BISEXUAL and possibly trans I’m not the only one who believes this) and Mary Wollstonecraft (BISEXUAL QUEEN) though I love Hobbes as well #asexualgang. Marx and Engels are obviously now part of the Fujo Marxist canon but I’ve been thinking about the potential of Luxembourg x Krupskaya lately because the forbidden romance yuri is my genre (also I looove Luxembourg she’s so beautiful and witty and I admire Krupskaya so much they would make the perfect power couple). Stalin x Lenin is second nature for all of us tankies, of course.

XX century I was OBSESSED, obsessed I tell you with Wittgenstein and I read all 5 Wittgenstein x Russel fanfics on ao3 over and over again, though I have a crackship of him and Franz Kafka (THANK YOU MARJORIE PERLOFF) but I also like the real relationships he has with his boyfriend like David Pincet’s diary is PEAK LITERATURE as well as what’s said about him and Francis or Ben Richards (Richards specially because next January they’re editing their letters in a compilation translated from German called “I think of you constantly with love” and I literally can’t even. Wittgenstein and Keynes are good as well but idk if romantic, sort of like gay/bisexual friendship where they don’t like each other but probably made out once or more than once.

For more modern philosophy ships I started a rumor on my uni that Robert Nozick and John Rawls were dating because Jesus you can’t find a liberal who isn’t horny for Rawls and dedicates the most gay ass eulogies to him in their own knock off version of theory of justice (locking at you, Cohen) but Nozick really went beyond. Like he talks about Rawls’s work as beautiful and also they worked together for like 10 years and apparently had joint offices? Gay as fuck if you ask me. ALSO THEY DIED THE SAME YEAR even though they were 20 years apart in age. I’ve baptized this ship as “liberalshipping” and I know that AT LEAST the guys at ProPhilosopher ship it as well (and all my irls of course).

Also currently I’m turning over the idea of two of the left wing presidential candidates of my country so there’s that. Jeanette Jara x Carolina Toha are Nana coded in my mind. I think they should both be president tbh like I don’t like Toha but the left here in Chile would be pretty strengthened by a yuri double presidency.

And also Allende x Castro of course but that’s just canon in here.
