Celty, Female, Earth Personality: Untidy, knowledgeable, clumsy, introvert, clueless. Celty belongs to inkytophat.deviantart.com/ ------ This one was a bit of a challenge, primarily because of the tail. Took a bit but I believe I got it done pretty well. The rest of it was enjoyable to draw, though :3

Aura Flash, Pegasus, Male

Personality: While easygoing, he can be a bit energetic.  He’s incredibly shy when first meeting, but, he’s open like a book when he knows a pony.  He’s a bit Naive and trusting to the point of being gullible.  He’s also a bit blunt. He can be a bit competitive at times to the point where he’ll ether admit defeat or win.  However he’s vary honest and loyal to those he calls friends.   While going fast is his best aspect, he’s learning everything he can on Magic due to the unique science behind it.  It’s because of his realization of the fact he doesn’t need to sacrifice his curious behavior over the want of being fast that he got his cutie mark.

Hair took some work on this one, over all I enjoyed it. Incorporated the cutie mark into the tree like its been carved into it. Had some trial and error with a few things but I like how it turned out in the end.

Sky High, Female, Pegasus

Personality: Sky High is a fairly nice pony, but she has more pride than her little body should really have. She has no intention of being mean, but sometimes when her mouth runs faster than her brain, she can be quite rude. If she hasn’t had enough sleep she’ll be pretty grouchy.

Spent a bit of time on this, mainly due to the pose and the foreshortening of various parts. Tried going with a something a little different for the outline this time around too. I really enjoyed it and I really liked the end result. YAY! I have to thank Thiefofcookies and Nerdy for their help with the posing as well.

Personality: Paradigm was not his name, but then again neither was he always a changeling. But one wrong turn and a few days in a love-sucking cacoon later you pretty much take a whole new perspective on life. He can only imagine what would have been if the transformation would have been complete.

Lily Flowers. Female. Earth Pony

Personality: Lily Flowers is a sympathizer of the poor and downtrodden. She cries for those who lost somepony important in their lives, but she also has a strong will in her heart. Running a flower shop allows her to meet many different kinds of people around her town, and is a great listener. In her younger days, she has been known to stand up against bullies a lot. That hasn’t changed much when she grew up.

Can we get another update on the status of APAD?

Oh, hey, been a while. Besides the fact that most of us have left, it’s personally hard to justify to myself contributing to this blog again given the amount of schoolwork, projects, and other obligations I have (and I’m sure the same can be said for everyone else).

That said, if anyone would still like to see the idea of this blog live, I can see a few possibilities:

We open for new artists who may not feel as confident in their abilities. The idea here is that any work they create, I can give my advice/critique. Obviously only apply if you think any advice I can offer is valuable.

We expand to OCs in general to allow for more variety for any artists who do wish to join.

We allow for a free flow of art and requests, as in anyone can request and anyone can fulfill requests and receive critique on those works.

All of the above.

Pony-a-Day Streams

Hello everyone, NerdyPup here.

We'd like to let you know that we are going to start streaming on Picarto. 

We're still working out the exact schedule, but we're aiming to do weekly streams on Saturdays, and switching the hour of the day and host(artist) each week.

So if you're available, we invite you to stop by and hang out with us.

We may also do improptu streams every now and then on other days of the week, depending on our availability.

We'll announce each stream the day before and again a couple of hours before it to let you know when it starts.
