what does bill look like in the nothing out of ordinary au

He is a triangle.

like, just Bill.

Although in this AU he didn't meet Ford the same way they did in canon. The current idea is that he possessed a random guy/puppet and tricked Ford into building the portal that way instead of taking over his body. Maybe I'll design the puppet later if I think it will be relevant, but by the time of the main story with the kids, Bill is a triangle.

I hope to explore more of those at one point. Maybe in a Six-Shooter & the Spectator: Origin comic— *cough* wait, what, who said that??

*raises hand*✋ um hi yes, superheros au you guys created is SUPER YUMMY 😁 I would like to know if six shooter and the piranha occasionally fight in their personas (like hero vs villain, ruining crime plans that have been in development for months, ect) and do the people know they're related?

!!! 🫵 Hi! I am so GLAD you asked. YES! The Piranha is in fact one of Six-Shooter's reoccurring villains! He is one of the prominent heels on the smaller level for Ford. (As Six-Shooter's main threat in the 80s was the escaped Henchmaniac, which is on a different scale than a crime boss with a mean left hook.)

They did join forces a lot more in their later years. (Especially after they hash things out) By the time the kids roll up to stay with them, they are pretty much brothers again for a LONG while, and Stan was semi-retired, so he didn't directly fought with Ford much... unless they have an argument and then went "put on your suit, I am going to kick your ass" (went both way) kinda situation.

(He still does crime, but unless there's really a reason to put on the villain suit, he would mostly focus on managing his crime empire and his heroes museum... until the kids got their power and now he's back in the game to help keep them out of trouble, pretty unsuccessfully. and for Ford, he wouldn't go out of his way to fight with Stan, but if he knows things went down, he would step in as it's his job requirements... Although, he MIGHT have let Stan mess with Gideon for sometimes before stepping in, no one can prove anything.)

For the second question! Aside from people that know them both in and out of the personas (Fiddleford, Emma-May, Tate, and Wendy and Soos later on) the public didn't know the Six-Shooter and the Piranha are related!

MORE! OF! THE! SUPERHEROES! AU!

Here are the Grunkles (old men ver.) in Nothing Out of Ordinary AU! (Superheroes AU by me and @coldbronzemoon!)

Since the actual story is set in 2013, where the kids stay for the summer, this would be their primary design! (You can find the kids' and the adults 80's design here)

Ford's overall Six-Shooter looks have stayed mostly the same since his prime. Although he has various upgraded gadgets and weapons, magitech or otherwise, that get added into his rotating arsenal throughout the years. On the contrary, Stan has change up his villain looks multiple times over the years, while only upgraded his main weapon (the gauntlet) once.

In their civilian guises, Stan is pretty much the same as the show, with his wifebeater and boxer around the house, the suit for work (both in organized crimes and in his museum), and various Hawaiian-shirt when he went out for fun. For Ford, he mostly wore what he found comfortable, not limited to the turtleneck!

(I do think he still got the All-Star tattoo as some drunken bet with Stan in the late 90's, he did cover it up for a while, but at this point when he stay home, he mostly just didn't care, it's just another "civilian" fun story about Stanley and himself that he can tell to the niblings.)

"I works alone" << Lies

Six-Shooter has a "Mr. Incredible & Incrediboy/Syndrome" relationship with Gideon, the twerb tries to join forces with the biggest hero in town, but the guy tells the child he works alone.

Which is famously not the case bc, well, Six-Shooter and the Spectator were a known duo. However, Ford considered himself working alone after Fiddleford retired... He is still very much working with Stanley (sometimes, behind the scenes)

Then that child vows to bring him down along with the rest of his family. It's a beef now.

Stan: Okay...what petty crime should I commit today... || Ford: *talk nerd stuffs* *ATTACK ALARM!!* Stan: want me to just get that one for you bro?

Back in their Golden Age, Ford and Stan mostly act the same in or out of suits, since it's just...their personality turned up and how they are, and their Hero/Villain sonas are more than just their jobs.

In their old men era, how they act in and out of suits changed a bit...and it's not intentional, so it's not really a switch to keep up their identity.

With Stan often act as a cranky old man in his "civilian" bit and in a more "normal" setting, while he gets more enthusiastically intense as a jovial showman in his villain suit. (he did have fun causing chaos and does action crime, but he also old now, no one can get on his case for being cranky, it's not like he gonna thrown someone in his piranha pit for it.)

While Ford is considerably happy and glowing when he gets to do scientists' stuff in his civilian guise, and gets extremely broody and annoyed when he has to go out to do hero stuff. (a man who hates his main job but refuses to quit. he loves helping people, but after 30 years, the villains keep getting on his nerves with their bullshit, he extremely need a break.)

Stan and Ford did have a Switcharoo once in a while throughout the years, mostly as a favor when one of them need to just step away from the roles once in a while... Stan took that chance to make Six-Shooter give the most out of pocket TV interview. Ford is mostly annoyed, but also doesn't want to go around doing another interview to fix it. So...Six-Shooter is famously loves Disco Music and grape jelly on fish sticks.

"Urgh, lucky I ditched the fur in the 2000's."

He might not be as colorful as he was in the 80s, but a three-piece black suit in the summer is still him making a sacrifice to be dramatic.

Emma-May Dixon: The Evolutionary, another mad scientist in town. She specialized in mutation, genetic modification, and beast-control tech. Fiddleford's beloved (on-again, off-again) wife, and one of the Spectator's villains (their third divorce argument completely destroyed the downtown area. They will remarry later.)

Bronzemoon and I had so much fun coming up with their details. The lore goes deep and I can't wait to draw them more!
