Ningxin and macaque have known eachother for a long time as she was a (former) celestial warrior who had fought him once in the past (specifically during the rebellion against the jade emperor)

The lore is kinda deep so all you have to know is that present day macaque and ningxin argue like an old married couple

Part of Yunjins lore is that she was in love with Meilin, and after she dies she shuts the world out and Ne Zha is the only one who was able to bring her back.

First the goddess of winter and flowers, and then the goddess of ice and Blizzards.

Yunjin is a qilin, a guardian deity who once being ascended to godhood, was tasked with looking after a multitude of priceless artifacts such as the sealing site of the Samadhi fire, and one of the six Color stones. Once a gentle goddess, grief has turned her heart to ice. After shutting the world out; the temple in which she resides becomes almost impossible for mortals to reach. Each year her winters become more and more unforgiving and no one knows that it’s due to what she feels is inescapable loneliness. Perhaps someone she once considered a friend could help? But did he consider her one back..?
