do you have any ideas/hc on how kazutora would pursue someone he's interested in?

Ok i was kinda imagining this as the reader being someone who visits the pet shop and Kazutora having a love at first sight thing going on. But here's how I could see that going

Spends a bunch of time pining first, everytime you walk into the pet shop he feels his face heat up as he can't help but sneak glances at you. 

Depsite having all those posters in his room and staring at people he found attravtive before, he actually get's quite nervous to pursue you. 

Also questions if he should pursue you/ if he's good enough for you (esp in bad timelines but he also questions this a bit in the good timeline too). 

It's Chifuyu (and Baji depending on the timeline) who actually encourage him to pursue you. They give him lot's of advice and pep talks and of course tease him a lot too

Always gives you warm greetings and looks genuinely happy to see you, one time he even jokingly said "seeing you is the best part of my day" (only he wasn't joking).

Will sometimes low key give you discounts too 

Offers to carry anything you're holding/ that you're buying from the pet shop. It's a very low key way of him showing he's interested in you.

Tries to make you laugh a lot (normally at the expense of Baji and Chifuyu). He always perks up when he manages to as well.

Asks you a lot of questions about your hobbies and intetests, after a while of knowing each other he suggests doing one of your hobbies/ something related to it as date ideas.

Likes complimenting you, the first few times he went red while doing it but get's more comfortable telling you his genuine thoughts about you as time goes on. He likes your smile best, it makes him instinctively smile too. 

At one point, when the two of you were discussing tattoos he tried to casually ask if you liked them (Baji and Chifuyu could tell he was pretty nervous of your possible answer though). 

Desperately wants to ask you on a date but finds it hard to find the right time, he ends up blurting it out one day, asking if you wanted to attend to festival with him. 

And finally, he was so happy when you accepted that he smiled the rest of the day and didn't even get annoyed when a rude customer was in the store.

If anyone said this to them then I feel like Hanma would put his arm around Kazutora before replying they are twins, while Kazutora very quickly shakes his head as a "no!".

Mikey stares blankly at the math worksheet. “Wait, why are there letters in math?” Your kid sighs dramatically. “Wow… you’re really bad at this, Dad.” Mikey blinks. “EXCUSE me?? I was a gang leader, not a calculator!” Then he drags you in like: “Babe. Come deal with your genius child.”

He’s been trying to explain division for 20 minutes. Your kid squints at the problem. “Wait, that’s not right… Dad… you’re really bad at this.” Draken raises a brow. “Oh? Wanna handle it yourself, then, little genius?” Then ruffles their hair with a grin. “Talkin’ all that smack for someone who still needs help wiping glue off their fingers.”

He looks heartbroken the second they say it. “Y-You think I’m bad at this?” Your kid pats his shoulder. “It’s okay, Dad. You have other skills.” Takemichi: having an identity crisis while Googling 3rd grade math “…I survived time travel. I can survive long division. Right???”

He’s actually focused… until your kid mumbles: “Wow, you’re not very good at this…” He stops writing. “What’d you just say?” They giggle. “You’re really bad at this, Dad.” He gasps, dramatically slamming the pencil down. “That’s it. Homework battle. First to get the answer wins.” They both lose.

He blinks at them, genuinely offended. “Excuse me? I’m trying my best here!” Your child grins. “Try harder, Dad.” He pulls out study snacks like he’s cramming for finals. “Okay. Game on. Let’s humble each other, baby genius.”

Baji: slams book shut “Say that again.” Your kid, unfazed: “You’re really bad at this.” He stares. Then smirks. “Bet I can still beat you at Mario Kart.” They challenge him. He loses again. Now he’s sulking with a pencil stuck in his hair.

🌺 Ran Haitani

Ran doesn’t even try to defend himself. “Yeah, I dropped out early, baby. I don’t do fractions—I do fashion and violence.” Your kid: “Then why are you even helping me?” Ran: texting someone “Yo, Kakucho, help. This tiny human’s roasting me.”

👑 Rindou Haitani

Rin squints at the paper like it’s written in hieroglyphics. “…What even IS this?” Your kid: “It’s multiplication. You’re really bad at this.” He flops onto the table. “Why are you like this?” They pat his back. “You’re still cool. Just not smart.” Rin: offended but can’t argue

🧵 Mitsuya Takashi

He chuckles softly. “Well, I guess I’m better with a sewing machine than a calculator.” Your kid nods seriously. “Yeah. Don’t worry, I’ll teach you math.” He smiles proudly. “That’s my little tutor.” Still kinda embarrassed tho.

Izana freezes mid-equation. “…What did you just say?” Your kid shrugs. “You’re really bad at this.” He narrows his eyes. “Oh? Try doing it yourself, smartmouth.” Ten minutes later: “Okay maybe I am bad at this. Shut up.”

🖤 Kakucho

He stares down at the worksheet, then at his child. “…Yeah. I am bad at this.” Your kid starts to apologize, but he just ruffles their hair. “Don’t worry. I’ll get better.” Next day? Brings home a stack of math books and tutors like it’s war.

Koko stares blankly. “Since when did they teach this in elementary school?” Your kid leans in. “Dad… you’re really bad at this.” He deadpans: “Say that again and I’m buying you ten tutors.” They grin. “Deal.” Koko: regret

Inupi’s trying his best, okay? Your child sighs. “You’re really bad at this.” He frowns. “I’m better with engines than equations.” Then shrugs. “Guess you got your smarts from your mom.” Your kid: “Yup.” Inupi: 😐

Angry looks genuinely devastated. “…I’m bad at it?” Your child quickly backtracks. “NO! I mean, a little… but you’re trying really hard!” He nods solemnly. “I’ll practice more.” He ends up staying up that night watching math videos.

“Wow, Dad… you’re bad at this.” Smiley: 😃 evil aura intensifies “Oh? Wanna say that again while tickled into the next dimension?” Cue five-minute giggle war and zero math getting done.

Ok, here are some for them!

After the incident with Kazutora's and Mikey, Baji told Kazutora he could vent to him about his dad at any time.

Baji will sometimes play around with Kazutora's hair (he noticed Kazutora seems to like it)

Kazutora has both tried to convince Baji to get a tattoo and to dress in those shirts Kazutora likes before

Kazutora likes his piercing more because Baji did it

They both like to set fires together 

Kazutora cried of laughter the first time he saw Baji's school disguise in the good timeline.

They kept each others letters while Kazutora was in juvie

Although Baji has the reputation of being the impulsive one in the duo, Kazutora actually picks more fights (this one might actually be canon)

Baji helps Kazutora to learn and bond with cats

Kazutora's birthday went from being a day he didn't like much to his favourite day of the year, Kazutora loves how it's also the anniversary of him meeting Baji.

While in valhalla together they were both a bit overprotective of each other, quick to attack another valhalla member if they questioned Kazutora or Baji.

As a kid Baji would constantly invite Kazutora round for dinner because he didn't like the idea of him being home alone/ with his parents.

They gang up against Chifuyu (to tease him) a lot in the good timeline. It helps that Baji and Kazutora are very good at knowing what each other is thinking.

Whenever the toman founders had a sleepover, Kazutora would insist on putting his sleeping bag next to Baji's.

And finally, they're both very good at cheering each other up when they're not feeling great.
