Interior design has undoubtedly evolved through the years. What started as a housewife's time-killer, decorating their homes with aesthetically pleasing knick-knacks, has turned into a multi-million industry that provides public and private spaces, perfecting balance of form and function.

Its impact is subtle compared to Architecture, a related field, since contact with the user is more intimate and personal. Interior design pushes the third dimension by achieving a fourth one, where time plays a more vital role in how one perceives space. Using elements from classic time periods emanate certain moods and vibes. Plus, with a sentimental generation dominating the visual virtual world with well-curated feeds and Instagram-worthy photos, every idea is reused and transformed. Everything’s dynamic and changing, which makes Interior Design important right now because it reflects who we are as a society, as a generation, and evidently, it can keep up.
