An island in the middle of the ocean, with a grand castle and possible adventure? Sounds like fun! That is, until your host tells you about a threat to the castle –– one that can only be eradicated by you and the other people who are in the castle with you: THE SKELETAL.

Now, you play a game that hangs your lives in the balance, a killing game that requires wits, investigation, and courage to beat.

David, still in shock about the body drop, had the intention to already glance at the queen and asked, "Do you happen to know in which room the broken window originated?"

         The shape behind the curtain seems to pause, before it gives a nod.

                 “The area outside everyone’s bedrooms                  in the Stone Wing ---- I’m sure you know                  that each of your rooms are connected to                  your watch, but the general area is simply                  that. A general area, allowable to anyone.

                  Therefore, anyone in any Wing could have                  committed this crime.”

While bound to the throne room, Sammy heard the sound of YELLING. What was that all about?

     Resigned to this fate his head drooped up until that annoying noise scrapped his ears – ( did he even still have ears ? )

    It was enough to cause the masked-monster to lift his head and look around– squinting from behind that Be.ndy visage, inevitably shaking his head and deciding it none of his business– let alone none he could do anything about.

    Regardless, he’ll close his eyes and try to listen in for now. Perhaps something of interest will come up…. or not, as both are entirely possibly. It’s his only current form of entertainment either way.                               ———– { @popgoesparadise }

While bound, Sammy heard part of a discussion; the Queen had said "Wait. Don't. I think this may achieve [ sic ] want."

     “…”

      And it seems surrendering to personal silence had proven worthwhile to some degree– with slowed breathing as to get as much as he could, end result seemed…

                    ….like a depressing waste of time.

     No, Lawrence couldn’t bring himself to care enough. What a surprise ? He’ll just settle with the idea that this is all some conspiracy and everyone will ultimately end up dead. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it ?

While sitting out on the castle steps, Leo heard the sound of YELLING ---- and a second or two later, a loud crash from nearby. Wonder what that was? [ POPGOES ]

❀╣★╠❀𝒫𝑜𝓅𝑔𝑜𝑒𝓈 𝒫𝒶𝓇𝒶𝒹𝒾𝓈𝑒

It’s a quiet morning. The God was still incredibly unsettled after everything that’d been going on lately. The meetings, the hallucination, the motive for murder…That was something that had officially put him over the edge. He wants to go back to Ithis. But every time he tried to faze home his head hammered like the worst hangover times twenty. He should talk to Death. He’d know what to do, right?

Then, the quiet is broken and Life startles, gasping sharply and turning his head.

A beat of silence follows. Then another. Life stands up and fixes his robe, turning in the direction of the noise.

✰ ❝ Hello? Is everything okay? ❞

When there is no response, Life shuffles across the grass of the lawn, looking around in confusion. He calls out again, just to make sure. Maybe they didn’t hear him. But then his eyes fall on the body.

Icewater flows through his blood as he watches the Soul Moth flutter around, screaming in agony. His breath catches in his throat and he stumbles backward, accidentally tripping over his robe’s back and falling down with a shout. Then he lets out another longer, more strangled one at the realization he was less than thirty feet away from a murder that had just happened moments before.

[ Alice ] Her Majesty had mentioned the Stone Wing, so perhaps she should start there for her own investigation!

           As the little angel entered the Stone Wing, the first thing she would likely spot is the BIGGEST ---- one of the large glass windows was broken, with jagged glass poking upwards as if being a death trap in and of itself.

           A piece of black cloth is also caught in the glass pointing upwards ---- that may explain where the coattail went...

While using the bathroom, Totty heard the sound of a LOUD CRASH, before yelling began to fade out. What was that all about? [ POPGOES ]

[ ❤ ] He was trying to be a brave boy, but honestly he was terrible of going to the bathroom alone. During his team in the bathroom he heard the loud crash and yell and he couldn’t help but to make a loud shriek in fear.

What a baby.

While bound to the throne room, Marylu heard the sound of YELLING. What was that all about?

Marylu was… honestly powered down for the most part, hanging limply in the chains, almost as if she was dead. But the sound of yelling woke the girls senses up slightly, and she looked around.

“…did anyone else hear that?” he questioned the other people in the chains, canting her head slightly to the side. Just who was screaming like that..?

While bound to the throne room, Ichi heard the sound of yelling. What was that all about?

While bound, Ichi heard part of a discussion; the Queen had said, “I would have thought he’d kill first."  

[ ���� ] He had been sleeping for most parts while bounded to the throne room and chained up. But finally the sound of screams and yells woke him up as he glanced over to try figure out where it was coming. That didn’t quite seem familiar. Sounded like something that could be in trouble or maybe it was just one of the kids screaming?

                           OH. Someone died.

         The queen’s voice was by now very familiar to the purple NEET. He grimaced for a few moments as he glanced over to the location where the voices were coming from. He. So the killer was a male. Or the victim was a male? The way it was spoke told Ichimatsu a theory that the victim was a male and attempted or would had been the first to kill.

( Mayonie ) is going to take her chance and take a closer look at the corpse, examining mainly the abdominal area.

        Upon an immediate glance, one would notice that Black Hat’s suit jacket appears to be ripped —- to the point where one of the COATTAILS has gone missing. Wherever he fell from, it may be possible that the missing fabric has been left behind.

Welcome to our first murder! All of this should be on the pages, but just in case, here's a post to elaborate what will go on in the investigation.

HERE is a link to the Google document for the investigation. You're free to take notes as long as it's mod-approved ---- aka, no sabotaging the case.

PLEASE MAKE TUMBLR POSTS ABOUT YOUR FINDINGS IF YOU ASK QUESTIONS ON DISCORD.

If you are Discord-bound, just let us know, and we'll help put together a post with your findings.

You are free to ask any of the hosts questions about the case ---- while they're certainly glad to help, they will ONLY have the knowledge the guests have.

While the Queen knows everything about the case, she will only answer when she deems it necessary to give you certain information. However, she will also be glad to give you slight hints as to where to look.

NONE OF THE HOSTS WILL CONFIRM ALIBIS, EXCEPT FOR BOUND GUESTS OR UNLESS A HOST IS SPECIFICALLY INTERACTED WITH. For example, if your character has been punished in a way that forces them to be absent for the murder, the host will confirm their alibi then.

You can PM the group as well as blckstrbbt / suitstuffing / gospelofdismay, tearsdivine / darlindevil, or in a private message in Discord. Asks to popgoesparadise are preferred, but you may question us and post your findings.

YOU MAY CHECK ROOMS TWICE. In fact, we encourage this. There’s always the possibility of a muse missing something; do note that GENERAL STORYLINE ITEMS will not be found during investigations, as we don’t want to distract from the murder.

TALKING TO EACH OTHER IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Not only with muns, but with other muses. They may know something ---- not to mention the fact that one of them is the murderer.

Please be courteous to other members, and don't try looking for every single piece of evidence; this isn't a competition to see who can find the most items, this is a collaborative effort into finding the murderer.

Do NOT add your own evidence into the document without asking the mods; if you have guesses about items and their locations, please send the mods a message. 

Once all evidence has been found, you will take everything you know and present it at the trial in order to figure out who the culprit is. Remember, you only have TWO CHANCES to get the culprit right.

Please do NOT rush the mods for responses about inquiries and evidence! We will reply as quickly as we can, but investigations could take anywhere from a couple of days to a week depending on speed and other events.

Trigger warnings: Blood, death

         Perhaps it’s the tune of “POP GOES THE WEASEL” that wakes you up, or maybe it interrupts a nice morning walk, a chance for breakfast, or a morning exercise -------- but the next thing you hear is a familiar voice over the intercom.

                       "Dear guests, please join us in                         the throne room. There is a most                         urgent matter to attend to. Don't                         worry for bringing your mask ----                         you won't need it for this."

        You make your way to the throne room, blending in with the other guests as you move, not knowing what to expect. The Queen had always been partial to giving you signed invitations, even for the talks about the hallucinations. This was...very UNUSUAL.

        When you enter the throne room, you see the four most recent bound guests released. All of them look as if they'd been just getting up, as if their chains have just freed them, but they're glancing upwards ---- when you follow their gaze, you can see why.

        A large projector screen had lowered, and upon it shines the image of the guest you recognize as BLACK HAT ---- surrounded by roses, a horrific ( or, perhaps ironically, HORRIFIED ) expression on his face, thorns stabbing into his dark flesh and clothes and making the scene bloodier than you'd expect it to be.

                     "This fellow's yelling had alerted us                       to what had likely transpired --------                      a MURDER has occurred, dear guests.

                     After a period of investigation, we will                      proceed to have a trial in which we will                      either find and judge our criminal...

                     Or we will simply execute whoever you                      vote for. You are our guests, but you are                      also our JURY. Your vote will decide who                      lives and who dies, who will be punished                      for the crime that you see before you."

        The Queen's voice rings out across the room, and you can't help but feel your stomach turn. It looks like a place outside, and you can recognize some of the rosebushes, but now you wonder if you'd even see them the same way.

                     "Your task currently is simple: you will                       investigate the scene of the crime, find                       whatever evidence is present, speak to                       others about what they have seen...or,                       well, heard.

                     Once you have finished, we will call you                      back into the throne room, where we will                      proceed to have our TRIAL. At that point,                      we will bring together all of the evidence,                      and you will vote for whoever committed                      the crime in your eyes.

                     Now, Popgoes X will guide you to the scene                      of the crime, and you should proceed from                      there. I think a few members of the Stone                      Wing will also have some observations to                      share with you..."

EVENT - SKELETAL SELECTION ( PART 2 )

         We’ve reached a total of thirty-five muses, which means that our next two skeletal members will be selected. These two members will receive a private message telling them of their muse’s status, and then invited into a separate Discord server for the purpose of discussion and plotting.

         What does this entail?

Your muse is being hunted for by the animatronics in POPGOES Paradise. Obviously, you have to keep yourself on the down-low, as the Queen will want to handle a skeletal’s death personally.

Other guests will be encouraged to hunt you and your fellows down. No matter how you ended up here, being a skeletal will warrant no forgiveness.

Thankfully, nobody actually knows very much besides a transmission the Queen has intercepted, confirming their existence and their arrival to the island.

Your main purpose is to survive until the final chapter’s trial has concluded. You can still kill, be executed, etc. like a normal guest, but all in all, your main goal is to live.

Our next Skeletal Selection event will take place when we reach 52 muses present in the game.

        Regardless, the captives are released, before the chains shoot back out into the crowd.

All previously-bound guests have been freed!

We are NO LONGER taking volunteers for murderer and victim! The murder post will drop soon.
