I have to say going back to the dance studio or back to Brooklyn, New York are the two places that have a special place in my heart.  Especially when the younger generations are the ones dancing to teach me a few new things.  By the way, congratulations on celebrating ten years with William!  It seems like just yesterday the two of you were announcing you were getting married.  

Yeah? I’ve always wanted to experience the vibe in a dance studio, it sounds so fun! We are always learning aren’t we? Oh, thank you! It sort of does, doesn’t it? It’s hard to believe we met twenty years ago for the first time.

Honestly I’m not quite sure if I have a place like that… Not that I can recall anyways, I can grant, for sure, that it ain’t my university since I’m a college drop out.

Sometimes it’s not a place, but a person or people. My family is that too. Oh? It’s not for everyone. Sometimes the stress is too much, it’s understandable.

You’re definitely not the only person. If you have fond memories of a place, it’s only natural you enjoy going back there every once in a while. Is it okay to ask why it holds a special place in your heart? I enjoyed my college experience a lot since I got to go through it with my best friend, but I later figured that I want my life to go in a different direction. Not sure why I ever thought learning something that would lead to a job which would keep me in front of a computer for most of the day was ever a good idea. It might be the most cliché answer to your question, but it’s definitely my hometown. I used to have a love/hate relationship with it because there wasn’t much to do other than the occasional visit to the cinema but that actually got me and my friends to explore so much of our town and the nature surrounding us that I’ve had a really great childhood. That’s also why I love going back as much as I can. And obviously visiting my parents who still live there.

Of course. It is where I met my husband, and learned a lot about myself as a person. Oh? So did you earn a degree and now do something totally different? Cliché or not, it’s a great answer! Home is always somewhere special, whether it be a place or a person. Do you have a favorite exploring story? I love a good outdoor moment, I try to spend at least a few hours a day outside with the kiddies.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not well versed in royal backstories so didn’t have half a clue that you went to university. Is that where the pair of you met? Oh, hands down has to be Italy, Venice to be more specific. My brother and I went on a film festival trip a few years ago with some of our closest friends and it was the best trip I ever had. We are dying to go again. What has uni so special for you?

I find that to be a breath of fresh air, is that strange? I am so used to everyone knowing so much about me, It is and probably the biggest reason uni was such a special time for me. I got to see William as William and not a prince. That sounds lovely! I spent my gap year in Florence but Venice is on my bucket list. I had no idea there were film festivals going on there, did you find a new favorite film? Being with friends on a trip like that is definitely something special.

I don’t think you are the only one that enjoys going back to university  I mean you see a bunch of people doing it for various reasons. Over the years i’ve had various places that I held close to my heart but these days I would have to say it’s where ever my kids are.

You gave the winning answer, my goodness! That is so sweet and very true. Anywhere you are able to catch those little loves of your simply enjoying life is the best. How have you been Jensen, how was your weekend?

To be honest I haven’t really been to uni, so I don’t know much about all of that. But at the same time from what I have heard about it I don’t think you are the only one that enjoys going back. As for my place like that I would have to say is going back to my parents in London. That’s the place where it just feels like home.

More so the connections and experiences I had there, ya know? Going home is so lovely! You’re not the only one who feels like that, being around your parents at their place, there is such a warmth. Truly is nothing like it. Do you visit them often or does work keep you busy?

I did get too, it was a lot of fun. I did not get eaten by bugs, thank goodness. I might have been caught with my pants down but only by one person and honestly wasn’t mad about. I just said that to a Duchess… hmm never thought that would happen… Anyway did you have a good time?

Oh my, will you even have time for me to list them all? I have a problem with narrowing things down so I may just have to send you a huge list of them with stars in which you should watch first. I’m happy to hear that I’m not the only one when it comes to all this. It seems like more and more often I become the ‘old lady’ of a friend group. A lovely way to make up for some TLC you missed out on. I feel like a horrible human that I didn’t have a clue that mental health week recently passed. What movies did you end up watching? I’m sure they are over the moon ‘bout a little fun weekend with their grandparents. 

Please send me the whole list! Old lady? No, wise beyond your years. Realized early you don’t need to be going out and partying to have a good time. It happens, don’t beat yourself up about it. There is always next year. We watched Cinderella again, then one of the Spiderman’s before the kids had to go to bed. I watched - damn, I can’t remember the name of it. The game show one? Where the players don’t realize the audience is voting for who they want killed off? They loved every minute of it, always do. How was your weekend, make it back from Maine in one piece?

I have actually never been to university, so I can’t say I miss going there. I have however been to Scotland and it is lovely there. Literally my home in Miami is my safe place, everytime I go back home I just feel so complete and like everything in the world is set right, even if it’s far from.

Most people who have probably wouldn’t say they miss going back, haha. But it’s where William and I met so it’s always nice to go back and relive some of those memories. Miami. I hear that is a beautiful place as well, definitely on my list. Having a place like that is great, a hideaway. Everyone needs one.

i never went to college, so i can’t say it would be that way for me but it sounds like you have a great time at yours! the place that makes me feel that way is whenever i’m able to go to the St. Jude’s Children hospital. normally i go around Christmas time, i give all of the children there a small concert where we sing and play games. it’s a lot of fun and leaves my heart full.

It will always hold a special place in my heart, being where William and I met. That is so amazing, and very sweet of you to go and do that for them. I’d love to visit there if I am ever given the chance; they do such great work. - I hear it’s a long weekend in the states, have anything fun planned or are you just going to relax?

William knew that George had given them stuff to use on the trip, but then he didn’t really do any of the pranks. He had left that to Catherine. And he had no idea if it had actually been used. Once they were back, he had freshened up and then spent some time with the family before he headed into his office. He got a few things done that were quite important before leaning back in the chair. He had no idea what they were planning.

The next thing he knew, he heard squealing and silly string going all over the place. As well as some landing on his head. At first he thought it was just the children, until he heard Louis. William turned around and laughed as he looked at them all. “I knew you were behind it.” He said to his wife.

George and Charlotte shook with laughter, and were now spraying each other with any remaining silly string. The Duchess looked shocked at her husband, hand on her chest. “Me? Oh no darling, this was all their idea!” She tried to play it off, but Lottie was quick to chime in. “No Daddy, Mama told us to!” Catherine huffed playfully as she slid across the wood floor in socked feet, hovering over William’s chair before balling up the stringy mess from off his head. “I didn’t want it to go to waste, and I thought since you didn’t get to experience freshers’ week back in the day, the kiddies and I would give you a little taste of it.” Leaning over, Catherine whispered in her husband’s ear. “There are a few more things to the experience too. Those we’ll save for when the kids go to bed.”

I think everyone does deal with that from time to time, duchess. I don’t think you would and that’s alright too. You have a lot of other things to worry about. Like, running around with your lovely children and making formal speeches to the country. Ah, bending of the rules can be fun in a sport. 

I’m a sporty person, that’s just one I haven’t seen much of. The training must be brutal. I’m biased but I also think they’re pretty great! We’re getting ready for summer holiday in the next month. Do you have any place to visit suggestions? That’s very kind of you, I still get a little nervous making those speeches. In life in general as well, right?
