I can't believe you ship Kentoine... Bash is being a jerk but Antoine just want her for revenge

I know, but how many successful couples started out this way, and then began developping feelings for each other ? xD

I shipped Kennash for the longest time ever and Torr and Caitlin have amazing chemistry, but right now what can they do for them other than make them have babies ? I just feel like unfortunately they’re beginning to be boring now, that’s why they didn’t show them in the first half. They didn’t know what to do with them. I think they rushed them too much in S1 and now they just don’t know what to do with them. So basically even though I believe that Kennash had a lot of potential in S1, I think the writers screwed everything up. They shouldn’t have professed their love in S1, it’s just too easy, now they don’t have anything to do, and I don’t know about you but I prefer dysfunctional couples like Chuck and Blair or Anne Boleyn and Henri Tudor, happy couples don’t do it for me. lol

And Bash is someone who loves saving people and being a hero and going out a lot. At this point, I don’t think he can make anyone happy, it’s like he’s married to his job and puts it first, always. I don’t really blame him that much because that’s who he is, and I know that he will keep doing this, even though his marriage is in jepoardy and even though he knows his wife is unhappy, because he’s that kind of guy.

Now the problem is, Kenna is unhappy because she wants a husband who is with her, who is present, who has fun with her, and whom she wants to have fun with, to attend parties with (…) she’s basically free spirited. Bash is too angsty and he’s always worrying about everything. At first I thought they could balance it out, that’s why I shipped kennash but the writers didn’t do that, they just changed Kenna into a goody characters and said that love changes you. But why should she be the one who changes ? Back then, it was normal for a noble woman to be ambitious, to like parties and jewels and to want homes and a rich husband, I don’t understand why they want to paint it as a flaw. Clearly, Bash judges her for it, because he doesn’t understand it because he was never born a noble. He thinks it’s shallow, and stupid and so he doesn’t really care about her when she says stuff like I want to go to a party, I want to this and that..

And though I still think Kennash is awesome, I just don’t want Bash to be happy at the expense of Kenna, because until now, they’re doing everything his way, and from the synopsis of the next episodes, he’s still out chasing weird stuff so they’re still doing things his way (if they’re still together), and I don’t see that changing. So if Kenna stays with Bash, she will forever be the housewife who waits for him endlessly, and pretends to believe every crappy lie he’s telling her and it will be a shame because Kenna is such a layered character, she’s not supposed to be good, she’s morally grey, that’s what makes her her. 

About Antoine: he wants revenge because Bash killed his brother, so basically I’m okay with it, because Bash saying sorry isn’t going to erase the fact that he murdered Antoine’s brother. Anyway, my main problem is that he’s mixing Kenna in his plan, but I think he fancies her, and he’s genuine about marrying her because it serves his revenge plan (he will forever take her from Bash if he’s married to her). The thing is, Antoine and Kenna are VERY similar characters (Kenna from S1 when she was more of a badass). They both like parties, having fun, they’re both perceptive and smart, and people underestimate them, people think that they’re selfcentered/ambitious/selfish, they’re both forthright, they both have a bit of a reputation…

Anyway, I can go on for ages with what they have in common, because basically I think Reign did it on purpose, we have a male version of Kenna in the show and it’s Antoine. Besides, he makes her happy, everytime they’re together she’s laughing and enjoying herself. Also, I would love to see Kenna as the Queen of Navarre, I think she will make a good queen (not an angsty tortured one like Mary). I obviously don’t know if Antoine’s feelings will ever change but I think Kentoine has the potential of becoming a great couple, fingers crossed the writers won’t screw it up as well. They can have many great storylines, and I love dysfunctionnal couples so, I think Kentoine can be like that. 

Sorry for the long post, I obviously think it’s great that you still ship Kennash, I just think that Kentoine is better in my opinion !
