My opinions on each of the Beasts being the first or last ones who corrupted

As of before we know much of anything about Eternal Sugar or Silent Salt:

MYSTIC FLOUR: Her story of corruption is quite independent so you could easily slot it in at any point you felt like. She could easily be the first, though the idea that the rumor spreading that her cocoon has treasures had something to do with Shadow Milk’s corruption is something I like, so he could easily come before her. I do not see much potential in her being the last to be corrupted. If anything she would be last cuz she was just like idk in a cocoon completely unaware that the others were going insane lollll

BURNING SPICE: yet another case of very independent corruption you could slot anywhere. It makes a lot of sense to me that he could be the first, since his corruption wasn’t caused by any actual evil in the world but simply his own boredom. It would be really funny if he was the last tho, like, “ok if everyone ELSE is going evil why can’t I” lol. It wouldn’t really make sense tho.

SHADOW MILK: I actually really enjoy him being both the first AND the last to be corrupted. I typically imagine him as the last, but perhaps with his unlimited knowledge he knew they would all turn evil anyways and decided to get it over with early haha. He is sort of the “leader” so it would make sense if he was first and the rest followed (and again the whole Mystic Flour Rumor thing)… but that’s also sort of why I could see him being the last. Since he’s the “leader” perhaps he tried harder to keep everything together, until it all fell apart so much that the only solution was to believe in falsities. We don’t know TOO much about his corruption, it is also theoretically an “independent enough that you could slot anywhere” corruption which I ASSUME is what they’re going for with ALL of them. I like to imagine in a scenario where he was the last, that with all the chaos the other beasts were starting to cause more and more cookies came to him for advice asking if they would survive and be alright, and of course Shadow Milk knew that it wouldn’t be alright and that there was no stopping this, but everyone would prefer to hear the lies and then boom Deceit Cookie

ETERNAL SUGAR: I wish we knew more!!! I’m assuming another case of “corruption can be slotted anywhere”

SILENT SALT: I actually DO have things to say about this one. We don’t know ANYTHING about Silent Salt BUT we know they once represented SOLIDARITY. That is really interesting to me and makes me wonder if perhaps THEY were the last one to be corrupted, especially since their Beast Yeast episodes are last. When it comes to them being first tho, I guess it would make sense? When you lose the solidarity then like no reason to hold it all together right lol. I’m really really intrigued by Silent Salt and can’t wait to know more, I’m just in pain cuz I’m getting so attached to the idea of Shadow Milk being the last but I really feel like it might be Silent Salt lol

But basically… ugh fine I’ll give some context… Dark Cacao and Shadow Milk do NOT get along in the rp and one time Dark Cacao accidentally triggered Shadow Milk’s Traumatic Childhood Memory (which he insists is a happy memory and is mostly just surprised he can even remember it since he hardly remembers his childhood at all but everyone tells him it was definitely trauma) and Dark Cacao does feel sort of bad about that even tho he didn’t mean to and he hates Shadow Milk. And for this AU I said “Timekeeper Shenanigans”. They’re just using the traumatic childhood memory thing as an excuse to mess with Dark Cacao tho

His first reaction to seeing an older cookie (which obviously wouldn’t have really existed back when he’s from) is just to babysplain the effects of age

He’s quite small for someone who is almost 16 tbh

This one was just a cursed idea I had. Technically, it fits into the lore perfectly. It COULD be true… maybe the alphabet song was invented by Shadow Milk…
