Now that the round is finished, I wish I had put it in a smaller hoop. Too much white space, I think. Luckily the person I’m giving it to works with me, so if it bugs me too much, I can just take it back and fix it. lol

A new hoop design!

Trying some new things with my buttons. These colors reminded me of Sam, Dean, and Bobby, but I think I need to change the color of Bobby's so you can see it better. White, maybe? I think I'll also go back and forth rather than up and down, just to see what the difference is. Also, I tried a new thread for Oogie Boogie! It's not glow in the dark, but it turned out really well. I think I'll only use two strands rather than three next time; three makes it tight, so now he looks chunky (which is actually pretty cool, we'll see how it works as a button), but it's hell on your hands. It's DMC Light effects, that whole series of thread is amaaaaazingly cool.

Black powdered Rit dye is not black. Using a steam-dye method, the pigments separate and you get a colourful confetti effect.
