hey sooo i’ve been super inactive on this account for a hot minute, the end of last year was really rough for me and i was hospitalized multiple times (im ok now!)

i plan on catching up on posting all the art i’ve made once the semester ends and summer starts (no school for me, yay!)

context: my cat has been living with me for almost 9 years and except for the standard "cat" anger, I have not received from him

I recently found out from the vet that he started having kidney problems and I had to heal him

I'm not a very strong person (physically) and this is the first time I've deal with it so, let's say, I wasn't very good at giving pills, but I tried

on the first day everything went well, he was prescribed treatment and given injections, he was joyful, probably because the pain receded and he began to feel better

on the second day, he needed to be injected again and we went to the vet (my aunt couldn't give him a proper injection because it was difficult to hold him), these are painful injections and it turned out that when we returned home, his paw was numb

it went away after a few hours, everything is fine, but I just realized that he was clearly in pain and I spent the whole day with him

in the evening he felt better (finally!!!) and I decided to give him medicine

he was warning me, but I had to do it, in the end, he ended up attacking me

now he's sitting in a separate room and I just go in to give him food and water etc, he looks fine

all I have to do is wait for my parent to come back from vacation and they'll deal with it

but now, even if he's acting kind of normal, kind of like he's feel good and I totally understand that it was just a very nervous day for him

I'm very afraid of him.

literally, as soon as I see him, I start shaking and cry (honestly, even now I'm crying because it's hard for me to think about it)

I would probably like to ask if anyone has faced a similar situation (I hope not.)

and maybe dm and tell me if my fear of him will pass and if the cat will still be aggressive (I tried to pet him ONCE and he even liked it, but I'm still very afraid of him)

and just what can be done in this situation

notes: the cat was not neutered (thanks to my parent), the cat doesn't go outside and stays completely at home, there are no other animals in the house
