when  i  tell  you  i'm  sat  …  in  front  of  my  laptop  working  on  our  plot  drop  until  it  feels  my  hands  are  numb,  you  would  be  right.  i  know  we  reference  it  a  lot,  but  it's  coming  together  now  that  we  have  more  time  to  dedicate  to  it.

it  would  be  a  disservice  to  say  i'm  not  exhausted,  but  i  am  so  excited  to  live  in  this  new  era  of  portum.  now  that  me  and  admin  emma  have  finished  our  little  makeover  we  can  go  back  to  planning  our  plot  drop,  and  also  an  exciting  interim  mini - event  to  get  everyone  interacting  and  crafting  some  new,  weird  and  wonderful  connections.  if  you  need  me,  i'll  be  lurking  aaaaaall  day !

    ( ✶ )  —  and  with  a  lot  of  sweat  and  tears,  portum  has  had  a  facelift  !

we  wanted  something  that  embodies  the  darker,  more  gritty  tone  that  the  group  is  going  to  take  over  the  next  couple  of  plot  drops.  we  hope  you  love  it  as  much  as  we  do.  we  are  using  this  as  a  soft  reboot  of  portum,  a  new  chapter  if  you  will  —  and  with  that  comes  a  few  updates  that  we  want  you  to  be  aware  of.

001.  our  plot  has  had  a  slight  update  !  please  refresh  yourself  with  our  backstory  and  get  to  know  our  founders.  more  information  will  come  over  the  following  weeks  about  our  founding  families,  and  if  you  would  like  your  muses  to  be  connected  to  them  in  some  way  please  let  us  know. 002.  we  have  given  some  of  our  locations  a  revamp.  we  have  developed  some  spaces  that  don't  get  much  love,  and  added  a  few  new  areas  —  a  town  square,  a  spa,  a  community  center, a haunted house  &  an  entertainment  center.  please  review  these  and  familiarise  yourself  with  the  new  names,  and  let  the  admin  team  know  if  you  would  like  to  change  or  update  your  muses  jobs  if  they  are  impacted  by  the  changes. 003.  we  are  lowering  our  mun  cap  to  25.  we  realised  that  there  has  been  some  problems  with  engagement  and  bubbling  recently,  and  we  are  not  exempt  from  that  as  an  admin  team.  from  now  on,  we  will  enforce  an  absolute  zero  tolerance  policy  with  these  behaviours  and  will  actively  encourage  new  interactions  by  hosting  randomised  mini - events  that  pair  characters  together  that  have  not  spoken  before.  we  want  everyone  to  make  an  increased  effort  to  offer  their  characters  out,  to  prioritise  interactions,  and  to  make  every  member  of  portum  feel  as  special  as  they  truly  are.

whew  !  let  me  tell  you,  having  a  birthday  is  hard  work.  i  feel  like  i've  been  run  over  by  a  truck  and  then  forced  to  run  a  marathon.  but  i'm  still  so  happy  to  come  back  to  the  dash  and  to  see  all  of  our  lovely  members  interact  in  the  discord.  manes  and  i  are  hard  at  work  to  make  sure  the  main  is  updated  for  our  revamp.  your  suggestions  in  the  discord  gave  us  some  exciting  new  ideas  and  we  want  to  bring  them  to  you  as  fast  as  possible.

hi supernaturals !

as recently stated in our discord, awkan will be leaving the admin team as well as portum. this will change things around town as she was our graphics designer, among other things, and will take most of her work with her. that means that our main might look a bit bare for a few days. what we ask from you, our members, is a little bit of patience and grace as we navigate into this new chapter for portum. things that will change: the plot will be updated we're going to revamp the locations page new graphics this week we will forgo our activity check while we try and find our footing as a duo instead of a trio and we will resume with them sunday august 10th. we know that this might be upsetting to some of you, but please don't hesitate to reach out to the main if you have any questions. we strive to make portum feel like home and we're always looking for input in how to make that possible. we wish awkan all the best and hope that she finds more awsome ways to explore her creativity and writing. thank you, emma and manes.
