maybe i'm overreacting when I say that this game has been the biggest light in my life since it came out in 2013. It's gotten me through highschool- that's how I made it-- playing it every week since the summer before freshman year. I've just taken and passed the highschool equivalency test and now I'm heading to college soon enough.. though my life will change tons soon.. difficult too, animal crossing is a safe, familiar,little world that I can count on to always be okay at the end of the day!

Given the fact that I have depression and multiple different kinds of anxiety, this game has really been a stress-reliever for me. If I had a bad bout or a low or just a bad day, I can just sit and relax and take care of my town. The routine of it is almost therapeutic, and some might occasionally find it boring but I love it.

i honestly love this game so much :) it's helped me through depression and still never fails to cheer me up, even after playing for two years now. my villagers are all so cute and kind, i love talking to them^^

During the New Years Eve celebrations, one of my old neighbors, Ruby asked me what activity I would do between Tightrope walking, Bungee jumping, or Skydiving. I made a small promise afterwards that I would do the latter. If all goes to plan, I could be jumping out of a plane early next year. I know it sounds cheesy... But thank you Ruby (and Animal Crossing) for helping motivate me to achieve my goals in life!!

this is probably going to sound rly dumb but this fandom has honestly helped me a lot. like, there are a lot of mean people, but most of the people i've met were so nice and fun to talk to. before my first AC blog i was really scared to talk to anyone and i was terrified of playing with others, but after a while i opened a lot more and i've been able to make a few friends and play with people without hesitation. i'm just rly happy about it.
