"Hello. Well we didn't get to go anywhere to take pictures yesterday as the sun didn't shine, but we took a few time exposures in the house and they are anything but good. We took a notion to dress up some comical way, and Aunt Nellie had gone to church and just got back as we came trooping downstairs after having robbed Lee's wardrobe. Well she felt pretty mad about it. Lee told her she forgot it hadn't been very long since she used to do such things herself, and Uncle Roland — well, now can't you just imagine that ringing laugh of his well. Well the pictures were not good but here are some of them. Belle looks like she was holding her nose, but she is really shaking her fist at Ethel."

"Belle + I both moved in this one so it blurred and looks wretched but I am going to send it anyway. And you send one of them to Fannie when you write her. I intended sending my insurance money in my letter the other day but forgot. So will wait now till you send me your number for fear it goes astray."

hi I just wanted to say that I love all the stuff that you post!!!!! your post card collection is so cool and they are all kinda PNW and that's where I live heehe. I've saved like 20 of the cards you've posted and they are rotating for my background on my computer! pls keep posting!!!!

aww thank you!!! i’m so pleased you’re using some of these cards as your computer background🥰 i’m from the pnw too, collecting postcards from there is really interesting and rewarding for me. i love seeing how much the area+environment has changed over the past 120 years.

i’m definitely going to keep this blog going; just know that if there’s ever long periods of inactivity, it’s usually because i haven’t recently acquired any cards that i feel like posting. i hope you keep enjoying the collection!!
