Thirteenth birthday memories? I was on a boat.

Okay i'm sorry for replying to your ask late, but i've been thinking about what happened on my thirteenth birthday for 2 days now and honestly i have no fucking clue. My memories for that era of my life is really blurry. (don't ask.)

Do you remember Y2K?

Yea!

My father was a firefighter back then, and there actually was a new year's eve party at the fire station. So we celebrated there, i was 6 back then, and being at the fire station when there was all that talk of possible catastrophe made it all feel extremely eerie for me. Like, you don't understand what's going on when you are 6, you're just confronted with the vibes.

It also didn't help that my mom has the tendency to buy into mass hysteria

Where Do you Like to go? I like to go to my library or to the riverside.

Even though I live in the middle of the city there's a rural area that's just, like, 15 - 20 minutes away, and i love to go for a walk there

I have 3 older siblings (2 sisters and one brother) + 1 step brother (from my step mother) + 3 step sisters (from my step father)

I'm very close with my 2 sisters, the relationship to my brother always was rather complicated.

I used to be very close with my step brother, but we grew apart over the years. Lately we're reconnecting though. It's cool. His wife is pregnant rn, so i hope i'll get to be the cool/weird aunt.

I basically never had any contact to my step sisters. I feel. Like i've seen them less than ten times in the last 15 years.
