Yes, we're still recruiting cleaners. We have quite a few projects on hold currently because we’re missing experienced cleaners and typesetters (and my admins, though experienced, are too busy to help out sometimes). Some of those projects have multiple chapters that are already translated and proofed o(╥﹏╥)o all that’s left is the cleaning and typesetting.

I was wondering if you knew if there is a way to buy it from Comica for people outside Korea? I've been trying to buy their currency for months but the website won't even show me where to put my card info....

Hi!

You can buy coins on Comica through the app (from Google Playstore) using Google pay. But the Comica app is region locked, so some regions can only download the global edition (the one that doesn’t have BL or any adult content), and you can’t top up your coins with that version of the app. One way to tell if you’re on the global edition is if you see that the app opens in Bahasa Indonesia, or if you can’t search for BL titles (such as Fools) on the app. If you run into that problem, try asking someone else from another country to top up coins for you. Once you have the coins in your account, you can use it on the website regardless of which region you’re from.

Hi I think I’ve answered similar questions before but you can buy the raws on Comica here, however IMB is not yet licensed in English so there’s no way for English readers to actually read it.

Also, some news for you guys, IMB recently released it’s final chapter (chapter 24), it’s still locked but it’ll be free in around 3 weeks. Do view all the raws on Comica to support the author while you still can because the chapters will all be relocked again some time in April.

Let’s all hope it’ll be licensed in English soon :’)

Hello~We haven't been posting updates for the past couple of weeks because since the author of IMB knows the link to our tumblr, I thought it would be best to lay low for the time being (so we kinda went on an unplanned hiatus). Rest assured that we're still working on the chapters though! Typesetting is the only thing that needs to be done tbh, the next couple of chapters of TCBL are already translated, cleaned and proofed. And then there's me (the typesetter) falling behind on everything. Smh. I'll have it done and updated soon though, so do look forward to it :)-Laz

LOL! You've got the nerve to ask for quality and what? 80% effort? from your prospective applicants, when you yourselves are just new to the community. Take a look at your outputs first before daring to demand anything from anybody. Because honestly, you've just barely contributed to the community and you are behaving all high and mighty and acting like you know A LOT of things about scanlation. So once and for all, whoever is answering your asks, get off your high horse.

Hello anonymous I'm lex one of the cleaner thanks for your post it's the first time I gonna take my time to write an answer...Well first we ask for quality because training new cleaners and typesetter takes time, readers are always asking for new updates and we are human beings and we have things to do either work or school we can train people but there is an extend to what you can do .... Second why shouldn't we ask some requirement before applying ?? It doesn't matter if we are a small or big scan group I don't see the problem in asking for experience...Third well you said that we are barely contributing to the scan community but who say that we are in only one group ??? I'm in potatonators but also in 2 other scan group you've probably saw my work without even knowing (so of course I know a lot about scan group ) I don't think that hiding and using anonymous give you the right to judge us . And last I'm really comfortable on my horse so I will stay up there and continue to look at your coward anonymous add while I'm doing my job .....

For the webtoon I am beautiful where would I find it? Does it cost money, or is it free? Also does it have an en English translation for it that is still updating?

You can find the raws on Comica, most chapters are free except for the latest 3 chapters (but I believe they will all be locked once the series is complete), and no it does not have an official English translation (we don’t pick up licensed series).

I was just curious, but what are the roles of cleaners and typesetters?

I’m not entirely sure how to answer this question so I asked a couple of my wonderful admins for their input (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

‘For me cleaning is of course cleaning the bubbles and the sfxs for the typesetter but when I clean I want it to be perfect to make the typesetter’s job easier, like she doesn't have to cover up my mistakes and can freely typeset wherever she wants to...’ - Lex

‘Typesetting is hella easy as long as you got guts to be creative with the font you use. It depends on what you typeset tho. But basically, all you need to have is determination and creativity. It actually depends on the team but so far, my role is to ensure that if there are pages that aren't cleaned perfectly, I'll either do juuust a bit of cleaning or make sure that my tping can cover the mistake. Luckily, it hasn't happened in PSC yet (thanks to our expert cleaners ehehehe). Also, it's also my responsibility to choose fonts wisely. If I'm stuck, I usually ask the team for advice or let them pick which fonts would fit better etc etc.’ - Meme

I hope you realize most of those websites just use bots to download and re-upload the chapters from other scanlation websites and its not someone manually doing it. Just fyi.

That may be true, and I did consider it as a possibility as I was typing out that post. I was hoping that if it was in fact a person, I’d manage to convince them to stop their misguided attempt at generosity. I apologise once again if my post ended up sounding rather accusatory. 

However, assuming you’re right, and our projects were indeed uploaded by scraper bots, it would help if readers could contribute by letting us know and also spreading word that the chapters are in fact not supposed to be there. File a report, post a comment, do whatever you can to get that manhwa taken down. Any action taken to help us out will be hugely appreciated.
