And I feel like that, right there, explains so much about how the site has changed in the last few months.

People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.

Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists - for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart's content. Or not organize at all, if that's your jam.

Alt text: I romanticize things in that I think that human interactions are indicative of underlying emotional states and interpersonal emotional ties, even if those states and ties are not permanent, static states. And so I love seeing displays of affection between people because I believe they give a glimpse of a person's emotional state and how they see themselves relating to another, specific person. Cuz in the end all communication is an attempt to transfer ideas and/or feelings from one brain to another. Those moments of displays of affection are one person trying to take the idea of the feeling of their love/affection and to transfer it to the recipient of their love/affection. And that's like one of the best things on earth.
