do you guys ever think about the fact that supernatural managed to be so misogynistic towards sam without having any main fucking. female. characters. like they full on shamed a 23 year old man every time he had sex on the show and always cast it in a sinful, evil way of him being seduced or tempted into doing bad things… and he is constantly presented as wrong and unholy in the narrative ESPECIALLY when hes right! whereas dean is always portrayed as some kind of hero, fighter and soldier and more traditionally masculine things and the narrative usually agrees with his dysfunctional perspective on things. like give my guy a break cmon he’s treated like a fragile broken wife in the later seasons too
