I saw an reddit a post that if you adjust for locked fics and stuff like that the ordner of the biggest ships 23 on ao3 is actually very different. Drarry is like way ahead of Dr@mione on place 4 or 5

i love how most drarry fics don't paint ginny as, like, a jealous ex. it’s always, "oh, ginny? yeah she's over there with her girlfriend and baseball cap. yeah, she's really happy. happier than this loser." and harry is just sleeping on their couch or something.

as someone born in the war in bosnia, i want to make one thing clear: every time that the world has let something like this happen over the past 70 odd years, it's allowed it to happen to muslims. bosnia, rohingyas, uygurs, palestinians, countless others. there is empathy in all places as long as they aren't muslim.

i urge you to examine your immediate reactions to a woman in a hijab or the words allahu akbar. i urge you to examine what narratives you've been exposed to even inadvertently.

i promise you muslims are just regular people. our families fight and rejoice and cry in the same ways as yours. we can grow up to be bad or good just like you can. if they kill all of us we won't get the chance to rewrite the story that's been written for us, against us, in our place. please don't let them keep killing us.

fandom is political. love is political. don't underestimate what being open and explicit can do.

Help save tumblr. Please. We've watched the platform slowly die bit by bit, through various apocalypses, crises, and general lack of funding and care, and we all(me included) for the most part have shrugged, and memed. But this is it, this is genuinely the 11th hour. If you care about this platform, and at this point you should, please help save it.

I plan to buy tumblr merch and things for the first time in my life to help do my part. I've been on this platform for half a decade, and I know a lot of people who've been here longer. There is still time to turn this around, but not much of it, so I'm asking all of us to do this, for the place that we call home.
