"transphobia" is the name we have for widespread & systematic oppression of transgender people of all kinds

"transandrophobia" is a new word a bunch of neo-men's-rights-activist clowns made up to refer to the supposed intersection of transphobia (real, defined above) and "misandry" or "androphobia," which is the supposed systematic oppression of men. misandry (or "androphobia" i guess, if you're trying to avoid invoking people's well-established & justified scorn at the idea of "misandry") is a classic & well-worn "men's rights" fiction that denies the entire basis of feminism at its outset, by insisting that men are somehow fundamentally oppressed by patriarchy instead of being fundamentally privileged by it.

why this new word? well, the trans men and transmascs you see using this word in earnest have correctly noticed that they enjoy social and political privilege over women in their communities (and you have to understand that this is not a contradiction to their experience of transphobia, just the same as racialized or disabled or gay men all still have privilege over the equivalent women in their communities.) the people you see using this word also correctly notice that this privilege they enjoy, in ways big and small, is threatened by feminist thinking. and so they've dusted off the old classic "misandry" and slapped a new name on it to give it a veneer of freshness and queerness that they hope will insulate them from criticism as they go around behaving in the ways that men behave when they behave badly, and defend themselves by basically just running through the classic "men's rights" playbook from 10 fuckin years ago. don't fall for it.

Help Two Stuggling Disabled Butch and Femme Trans Women

So our quite frankly awful ill-parted ex gave us two weeks notice in march that she was moving and then attempted to steal from and insulted my partner, and didnt even tell us she was going to turn off the water let alone when it would happen. A few days ago, the landlord served a eviction notice to us, which means we need to be out and SOON

So right now were waiting for the power and wifi to just turn off at the same time as we're trying to move to a place thats super isolated in a very conservative area in U.S.A South. We will be a 15 minute drive to a ridiculously small town and a 40 minute drive to a Walmart. The house itself is from the 1930s/40s and falling apart.

On TOP of this, the several hundred gallon water pump that was at the house not three days ago was stolen and then we were told lies to our faces about how its been gone for a while. To add insult to injury, it was replaced with a smaller, crappier and broken pump. Which, WHY? our life is a bad YouTube comedy movie, especially because we had at the same time finally gotten the water pipes in the house fixed

we currently have 140$ in our combined bank accounts right now, which doesnt cover two weeks of groceries, let alone also the gas required to move to the house

please help us with whatever you can, we need as much assistance as we can get for groceries, repairs, clothes, even bills, theres no easily gotten employment opportunities for a trans woman in that area so we really need it
