Hi, my name is Christina, and welcome to my blog! I graduated from college two years ago, where I studied to become a Personal Trainer. In college I qualifed as an Aerobics and Gym Instructor, Sports Conditioning Coach, and of course, as a Personal Trainer. Outside of college I qualified as a TRX and Spinning Instructor. Next on my list as Kettle Bells and Sports Massage. As you may have guessed from the title of my blog, I'm a Power Lifter and Yoga Girl. I began training in Power Lifting in June 2013, and my first competition was in August of the same year. I currently hold two National (Irish) records for Bench Press and Deadlift. The association I am with is the IDFPA (Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Association). What I love about this association is that it's DRUG FREE (competitors can be tested any day of the week, not just in competition, so if your juicing or taking any other form of banned substance, you'll get caught) It's great to know that everyone your competing with/against is drug free and their performance is based on raw strength, talent and dedication to the sport! I also started Yoga summer 2013 too. I found a 30 day yoga challenge on YouTube which was created by doyouyoga.com and Erin Motz. I thought it was a great introduction to Yoga, and I go back to it on a regular basis. On the success of this challenge, Erin and the guys behind doyouyoga.com set up a unique platform for Yogis', which is My Yoga Pro (check it out). It's a social network for Yogis and has loads of yoga classes which are, again, taught by Erin. My Yoga Pro is for all levels of Yogi, and if you have any difficulties with the transitions/movements or anything, people will be willing to help if you ask. It's defiantly worth checking out if your interested in Yoga in any way, shape or form. If you have any questions, by all means, ASK! :)

Persistence is key.
I didn’t grow these babies over night, it took me a solid 2 years to build the body I have today, and even then I’m no DLB. Remember to keep going and keep pushing yourself to get the results you want, never give up.
