Today is the one year anniversary of @taylorswift ’s masterpiece that is folklore’s so for anyone who see’s this, I’m asking you a question that I’ve been holding onto for a year🙃: How did you interpret illicit affairs?

Personally I never heard the song as being about infidelity, instead I hear it as keeping a relationship to yourself and hiding it from the public and friends, similar to Dancing With Our Hands Tied.

I brought it up with a friend and she agreed, seeing it as keeping a relationship hidden from your friends.

So what do you guys think?

A year ago today @taylorswift announced the masterpiece that is folklore✨✨ A shining star in the middle of the pandemic

I still remember waking up early to go over my English assignment with my mom before submitting it and going upstairs to grab my phone. Seeing the notification on my home page and clicking it I literally started jumping up and down and then ran down the stairs and told my mom “this is the best day ever”!! ❤️

I went on to actually write a poem for that class about how @taylorswift ’s music impacted my life🥰

It was hard to listen to before my mom’s diagnosis but now I get emotional just thinking about it

I absolutely love folklore and when I listened to peace this line always stuck out to me, so I decided to incorporate it into one of my drawings!

You know what kills me about James?

Everyone is like - “James faced Voldemort, wandless, because he thought he could take him for Lily and Harry, omg.”

When really, I think James knew all along he wouldn’t make it.

He was offering himself up as a distraction to give his wife and his son time to escape, knowing he’d die in the process.

And that, in a nutshell, is why I will take no hating on James Potter.

Because, Merlin, if this man wasn’t the absolute embodiment of bravery and unconditional love, then I don’t know what is.
