Time to draw!
Today, I picked up my new sketchbooks and decided to do a drawing. It's been ages since I last drew on paper, and to be honest, I'm a bit rusty. I've only been drawing digitally for the past few years.
I decided to draw two characters! Amy Rose and a random human character I saw on Pinterest that I wanted to turn into a Sonic character. I also got Amy's pose as a reference from there.

Ah! And I’m really happy that even though I felt a bit "rusty" with drawing, they turned out good. I’m happy with how they came out! (For anyone wondering what was supposed to be in his hand on the left, he's holding a small box with roses 🥹💖)

Tomorrow’s the day for Sonic 3!
Another sketch for tonight! Can’t sleep yet, tomorrow’s movie day and I’m heading to see Sonic 3 with a friend and I’m so excited! Sometimes drawing helps calm my nerves. lol

I’ll need to travel early since it’s in another city... I might even stay an extra day to explore a bit more — really wanna check out the Daiso store and grab some japanese goodies (super excited to buy that famous koala cookie)!

Welcome to my first blog post!
The year is almost over, and I’ve decided to start my goal of improving my art skills. I’m getting back into drawing because it’s what I love most in life, and I want to get better at it.
Today, I did a study to improve anatomy. I followed some references I found on Pinterest and drew my new OC (Original Character). I’ve finished the sketch, and the lineart is already done. In my next art post, I’ll be sharing her fully completed!

There are still some things I need to fix in the artwork, but I’m going to try not to be too hard on myself about perfectionism, which is something that really slows me down when I’m drawing. I need to remind myself that this is a process, and it won’t be perfect.
But here are some of the things I really want to study to improve: Hands, different types of eyes, facial expressions, and clothing.
