As an experienced finance and investment professional who holds both a juris doctor (JD) and a master of business administration (MBA), Pras Kayilasanathan serves as a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) with the investment banking division of BDO Canada in Toronto. Pras oversees a range of general corporate finance and transaction advisory services. Before joining the BDO team in 2018, Pras Kayilasanathan served as a leveraged finance professional within the New York City office of the multinational investment bank Jefferies LLC. Prior to Jefferies an in an effort to whet his appetite for finance and business, Pras served as a business development professional with the capital advisory firm CentrePoint Capital in Toronto. Outside the world of investment banking and financial services, Pras Kayilasanathan has sat on the cabinet of the emergency campaign for Toronto’s Scarborough and Rouge Hospital Foundation. He is also involved with the Scarborough and Rouge Medical Imaging and Vascular Centre campaign. In his free time, Mr. Kayilasanathan stays physically active by playing basketball and running, and he recently completed a half-marathon.
