Idk if anyone's thought of it,, but hear me out: aftermath of 305 minus Elevator Max - but instead, Orpheus and Eurydice inspired .

(TLDR for people who don't know what I'm talking about; Orpheus and Eurydice in love, Eurydice gets bitten by snake and die, Orpheus goes to the Underworld - and he's allowed to bring Eurydice back to the living, if he doesn't look back . A test of their love)

I'd like to add something- Max's eyes dilated/became bigger with the pause about Sam . Idk much about lagomorphs ,, but rabbits pupils apparently can dilate from anxiety/worry.

So, Max was (maybe - ofc maybe) worried that Sam might not be his soulmate for a second
