havent worked on fancure stuff in monthsss but ill dump what i got. this was from a random teamup event in my server where someone else made a story and i did designs for em

the problem with precure is the monsters are largely ugly and boring. wanpre was a real breath of fresh air bc the monsters had unique designs and behaviors due to just being purple animals. but most of the time it's like "this episode it's an ice machine so it's a big rectangle and it shoots them with ice cubes. next episode it's a bowling ball so it's a big circle and it shoots them with bowling balls"

i was pretty mixed on the last jewel outfit but this one is super cute. adding a waistcoat to amulet spade does a lot balance wise.

My name is Kenzy and I’m creating an indie series called “Towards Galaxy’s End”

SYNOPSIS

After saving her friend in a car crash, Amina “Ami” is given a second chance at life - so long as she chooses an extinct species. She becomes a space-vampire and upon finding out 6 other girls made the same choice, sets off to form a magical girl team from something that was never meant to be magical at all.

The story is a strange take on the Magical Girl genre, as we come to learn more about these characters and how they got into this predicament. We get to meet a colorful cast from all walks of life, who are met with the chance of choosing what to do with their new found second chance. The energy will be similar to that of Studio Trigger in terms of the upbeat nature and Kyoto Ani for the heart. Choices are the true theme of this story, so it’s important to see how that plays out.

As of right now, we have 51 days to make this happen! Our team consists of artists and voice actors that have worked in anime, like AJ Beckles (The voice of Okarun from DanDaDan), Zeno Robinson (Hawks from MHA, Hunter from The Owl House), Emi Lo ( Mao-Mao from Apothecary Diaries), LaKira Porter ( Animation Station) and plenty of other talented actors/actresses!

We also have a stacked lineup of animators that worked at Mappa, Disney, DreamWorks, OLM, Science Saru, and plenty of other So if you want to see what we come up with, please, help us reach our episode 1 goal! (And perhaps we can also make it to episode 2!

Quartet Star's concept art 🦋🥚🍋‍🟩🌷

… under the cut! As in the book I'll keep these four under one post (there's also less material for them individually). Again, if you are going to post these somewhere else credits aren't needed but highly appreciated.

An early sketch of Quartet Star! The production wanted a four members rival group since the early stages so they were designed simultaneously. Each was planned to have different characteristics in mind: the student council president, the rich girl, the free spirited girl and the doll-like girl.

Sakura

Sakura was designed by keeping in mind her bold and strong-willed personality as the student council president. Her design evokes the image of a dignified person. Her hair was originally thought to be purple with full bangs, you can see green and pink ombre on them as well. Her eyes were changed from pink to green to red and her Buzzlume coord looked a lot like Chii's with some inspiration from Airi's top, a lot more cooler than the final design which is elegant. The final draft looks pretty much like the current design minus the emblem which is a butterfly with a yellow line in the middle.

Tamaki

The initial design was developed by mixing retro and modern elements. Along the way they decided on an easier to imitate hairstyle and a more gothic style. You can see her image color was green with pink accents, and her Buzzlume had some kind of "rich girl on a travel" vibes. She had long hair and pink ombre. Her emblem was what seems to be an egg-shaped cabochon (most likely a reference to her name). On the final draft she has a butterfly emblem that is now Sakura's symbol.

All the different hairstyles that were tried for Tamaki! The bottom right one could be the current Tamaki with her hair down!

Airi

Among the serious trident council president the production needed a more funny and free-spirited girl. At first, Airi had a stylish, street-like appearance. Then she was changed to reflect a more cute and pop style, having her in the current pastel colors. Her hair were white with a dark green ombre. Noticeably, you can see the street fashion inspirations in the leg warmers, the sneakers and the long flared pants, which resemble Wakana's! Her emblem in the early designs was a slice of lemon, which was later changed to a rainbow in the final draft and into a candy in the final design.

Rinrin

She was meant to look like a doll, so the designer gave her heavy and striking eyelashes to make her eyes look slightly closed. Rinrin is probably the character that less changed from the early to the final design. She initially had pink hair with a hint of white/pastel pink ombre and they were styled with two fluffy scrunchies. Her image color was initially a pinkish red instead of orange and her emblem was a tulip. In the final draft she had a blonde ombre that was later removed along with the fluffy scrunchies.

Perfect characters are the ones I could rave about forever. Their writing, their scenes, their role in the story add SO MUCH to the show.

Iconic characters are fun to watch regardless of how much they add to the story. It just wouldn't be the same show without them lol

I care deeply for everyone in Bestie tier because I really empathize with their struggles. I think they deserve happiness

Cute characters are just fine but hold thematic weight. They're basically really good characters to explain the show's themes with, but rarely the most fun to watch. Kazuki is cool though.

Funny characters are good for gags but let's be honest you could cut them out and lose nothing

Whatever tier: I would struggle to write a single paragraph about this character. Scene filler if we're being honest
