“The Pilot’s Son.” Just sold! This painting is very dear to me, so I have mixed feelings about letting it go. When I first showed this piece in 2013, people told me they loved it, so I didn’t know how to process the lack of follow through with a sale at the end of promising conversations. This piece almost always occupied a space in my shows and by far resonated with people the most. This artist lifestyle is not for the faint of heart. Your time invested in your work is sometimes quickly rewarded and many other times is likened to being trapped in amber waiting for the right person to come along.
