Hello, it’s me, I’m back.
Over the last few months I’ve been diagnosed with another list of health issues, including alopecia areata and depression. With all of this I fell off the wagon hard, and I feel fucking dreadful.
My partner has started working away from home for weeks at a time and I literally do not leave the house more than once a month at this point. I’m at a low.
I’m trying to get back on the wagon. When I’m fasting and exercising it genuinely makes me feel better, physically and mentally. It’s 3am at the moment, but there’s no time like the present to get your shit together.
Hopefully I’ll start updating regularly again. I do know that my weight is sitting around 115kg at the moment which means I haven’t gained drastically or undone any progress… which is surprising.

Want a Flat Stomach? Stop Those Sit Ups and Instead Work Your Transverse Abdominals
For everyone who wants a flat stomach, here are some exercises!
TLDR is that your transverse abdominals wrap around your waist like a corset and are involved in posture and supporting the spine—and keeping your stomach (whether it’s fluffy or shredded) closer to your spine, that is, flat! Whenever you suck in your stomach, THESE are the muscles you are using, so if you train them, you won’t have to suck in :)
Gentle
Activate abs by lying on your back on a hard surface and pressing your spine into the floor 1-3 seconds, 10-15 reps.
Cat-cow yoga movement, 10-15 reps, squeezing 2-3 seconds
“Dead bug” lie one your back, extending alternate arm and legs so they’re flat parallel to the ground. Squeeze butt and keep core engaged the entire time, lower back pressed into the floor.
“Bird dog crunch” get onto hands and knees and extend alternating arms and legs so they’re parallel with the floor off the ground; squeeze glutes and abs!
Pilates 100 - lie on back, lift your legs off the ground at an angle and flutter your arms up and down by your sides. Keep similar posture as described prior.
More advanced (planks with a difference)
Plank while holding one leg off the ground, bent at the knee OR with one arm off the ground held straight forward; keep shoulders and hips level, keep spine as straight as possible with no sagging. 10 arms raises, 10 leg raises on each side, 3 times through.
Side plank (incorporates obliques) hold 10-15 seconds, do 3 times per side
Hollow-body hold - get onto your back and lift your legs and arms off the ground at an angle so from the side your body looks like a banana lol. Hold! Press lower back into ground, squeeze thighs together, squeeze glutes. Lift shoulder off ground and keep head neutral, don’t strain neck!
Plank to side plank - start in high plank, rotate body into a side plank, pause, and return to start to complete 1 rep.
With weights
Romanian (stiff-leg) deadlift - stand feet hips width apart, arms straight holding weights. Keep back straight and neck forward, bend at the hips (sticking bum out a little) and bend down until the weights are below your knees.
Goblet squat - a squat, with a weight held like a wine glass kinda (with all these there are tons of videos online you can look at :)
