âSâall yours doveâ donât worry,â Finn replied, his voice a warm rumble in his chest that was just loud enough to be heard in the relative quiet around them. Wine wasnât something heâd ever developed much of a taste for throughout his lifeâ heâd rather have beer or proper liquor before he accepted wine from anyone at all but everyone had their tastes and he recognized that. âYouâd probably be better off just drinking from the bottle,â He mused, glancing briefly at Waverly as amusement settled in him at the sight of the bag sheâd brought along and the passing thought that sheâd brought along something else to drink from. âIf youâve got a glass or summat with you I reckon youâd be more likely to break it out here than use it properly, eh? The wine bottleâd probably be more durable.â
Waverly chuckled as she slipped out of her clothes and into the water. Opening her small cooler back and setting the bottle into it so that it would stay cool. âNow now Finn, I could very well do that. But I did not achieve the status I did to drink from a bottle when I could drink from a glass.â And with that she pulled out a glass and poured her self a glass of wine as she settled. âBesides, Iâve found that even those things that look fragile can often be very durable.â The blonde hummed with a wink.Â

isak-bergstromâ:
This one definitely had bark and he didnât want to be on the receiving end of her bite. Instead of arguing further on the manner, Isak let out a low growl and looked the other way. His eyes fixated on the villaâs layout, trying to remember each room and which were allotted to him. It was clear the two had gotten off on the wrong footing, yet to think theyâd become instant bffs was laughable. Isak knew his place in all of this. Even as her words seemed to relax concerning alcohol, he knew better than to press her further on the subject. That would be reserved for another day. âVery well,â is all that he replied. At least she seemed to take his compliment wholeheartedly. Her villa was definitely one of the nicer ones he had seen. Maybe she was one of the higher ups. Turning his full attention back to her he asked, âHow do I know which royals you donât like? Do you have an actual list?â The wheels began turning in his head, causing him to spout off, âWhat about Alrik Bergström, my brother?â
Waverly heard the low growl but she wasnât going to address it. He could cope with his situation however he saw fitting. She wasnât going to ask him to bow at her feet. Common respect was simple and so was rule following in her eyes. Her slim shoulders rolled at the question. âIâll make it known if you bring someone around I donât like. I donât keep an actual list because that would require learning peoplesâ names.â Her eyebrows furrowed slightly at the name. The royal that was killed. Had no one spoke to this man about his brother yet? She shook her head. âIâve never met him.â She hadnât. âYouâre better off asking another royal here.â It would also probably be better for him to hear the news from those he was close and not the pirate who was in charge of him from this point on. She may not be kind, but Waverly wasnât soul-less.Â

Finn was a naturally friendly personâ it was rare that he felt the need to be alone and rarer still that he made any effort to act on that feeling when it flared up in him, cold and rough in the pit of his stomach. In truth, he hated the feeling. He felt much more like himself when he had the opportunity to be around people but rather than find solace in company heâd nursed his own bad mood until he found himself wandering the island in search of a bit of solitude before he found the hot springs and made a split second decision to stay there until he was forced to return to the more populated section of the island. It took him all of seconds to strip and settle in the hot springsâ his eyes slipping closed as a sigh of contentment escaped him; his solace was short-lived as he heard footsteps approaching the springs and he inhaled deeply to steel himself for the company. âIf youâre lookinâ to join me youâre more than welcomeâ unless youâre lost. In which caseâ gimme a moâ and Iâll get dressed and help ya find your way out of here.â
Waverly had a long day and was looking for a little bit of relaxation. She normally would go for a dip in the pool but with having a royal to watch over now made it so that she would never truly be alone. So she took a bottle of wine and a glass and made her way towards the Hot Springs. It was slightly disheartening to see a figure in the water but it was at least nice to hear a somewhat familiar voice. âIâm fine with some company but I wonât be sharing the wine.â She hummed, holding up the bottle and smiling softly at the other as she set her bag down.

isak-bergstromâ:
Given that this pirate was allowing him to stay at her own personal home, he figured he could at least be cordial. Did he enjoy being held captive against his own will? Fuck no. But Isak was smart enough not to be a nuisance when things were looking up for him, lest he ruin his chances in staying at the comfy abode. His eyes followed the things she pointed out. During the tour he stayed mostly quiet, too curious to interject with some type of witticism. A frown did move onto his features when she mentioned alcohol being off limits. Hopefully Hunter had better luck in that department and would willingly share with him. If not Hunter, perhaps Ingrid or another royal friend. If he was to stay on the island and kept from misbehaving, heâd need some source of alcohol. Once she was done with explaining the full layout, Isakâs brows arched as he asked, âSo if Iâm a good boy you might allow me some alcohol? I didnât know that bar was off limits. I just walked right in and was served. Maybe your people should put a sign that says âNo royals allowedâ in bright red letters. Canât blame a newbie for seeking out a drink.â Isak tried his best not to smirk in the blondeâs presence. It was proving to be rather difficult, yet he managed an even smile on his face. âYou have a lovely home here,â he said truthfully.
Apparently the royal could keep his snide remarks to himself for a while. It was good to know that he did have a brain in what seemed to be a thick skull covered in light hair. Her hands remained on her hips as her own blonde head nodded. âYeah, thatâs exactly what I said. I donât care why you did what you did, you broke a rule. Iâm sure thereâs a sign somewhere around there that says that. Maybe reading is just not your specialty.â She countered, shrugging her shoulders as she kept her gaze locked on the other. âProve to me that it really was just an accident and you can get your hands on some booze.â At the compliment, the smallest hint of a smirk formed on her lips. âI know I do. Letâs keep it that way. I donât want any royals I donât like over here either. No parties or get togethers or whatever and if I donât like one of your little friends, donât bring them over, got it?â

isak-bergstromâ:
Maybe feisty was an understatement concerning this one. Time would only tell. âCute,â he curtly remarked, not feeling an ounce of fear. The pirates in general didnât scare him. He really never gave much thought to them since his father was still king and dealt with politics. Sweden, unlike a lot of countries, wasnât overly effected by pirate raids or ship captures.Â
Once they arrived to the villa, Isak listened to her instructions. There wasnât much to go off of except that he had the necessities. Isak simply nodded his head and smiled when she mentioned her name. It suited her considering she was a pirate that sailed on the waves. âWaverly,â he repeated still smiling. Heâd definitely let his nickname for her slip, which made him wonder what that would warrant him. âWell Waverly, it sounds like youâve got everything in place for my arrival. Care to show me around?âÂ
He could at least follow the simple instruction as to what to call her so he did seem to have a brain in his thick skull. âFine.â She stated as she walked in and pointed to the kitchen. âThatâs the kitchen. If you take any food, tell me what you take so I can get more of it. If I say not to touch something in the fridge then donât. The bar is off of the living room. Itâs off limits. Iâll know if you take anything. Be a good boy and maybe you can get a treat but for the time being since that stunt you played, itâs locked and off limits. Your bathroom is over hear. The second bedroom has my studio in it and occasionally functions as a guest bedroom. My bedroom, bathroom, and study are also off limits. You can go in the pool. Donât drown. Any questions?â

âIâll have you know I freely compliment beautiful women at my leisure, thank you very much,â Finn drawled, screwing his face up into an expression of mock offense. âBut Iâm not much for drinking alone, yâknow? That feels like a quick descent into something that wonât be all that great. So, cheers to you, doveâ youâre saving me.â His expression shifted as he smiled brightly, âIâm Finn, by the by. Youâre⊠Waverly, yeah? Am I getting that right?â
âOh I believe that baby. And itâs certainly nothing to be ashamed of.â She teased lightly before laughing softly. âWell when you put it that way it sounds like Iâm an angel just by having a drink with you.â Her blonde head of hair nodded. âI am. Youâre getting that right. Kind of a strange name but my parents were very strange people.â She narrowed her eyes slightly. âRemind me of the ship youâre on.â

isak-bergstromâ:
Immediately he knew what she was referring to. Isakâs impromptu drink at the Pirate Lounge landed him in some trouble, yet he simply feigned ignorance to get out of punishment. It also helped that he pointed out the negligence displayed by the pirates for allowing him to enter, along with serving him alcohol. In his opinion the royals should be allowed to get lit every once in awhile. Itâd probably keep them content and out of their hair. âOooh feisty,â he retorted, following the blonde pirate to her said villa. It appeared his days of dormitory living have met their end. Since coming to the island he was very curious about these pirate villas. Not all the royals lived in them with their pirate captor, for one reason or another. âI think I can manage a pair of shorts. I take it you will be providing me with more clothes and other necessities?â He questioned while slowing his long strides to keep to her pace. âDo you have a name? I think itâs only considerate that I know yours since you know mine. Then again I could just refer to you as pirate Barbie. I bet you get that a lot,â he grinned to himself, trying not to snicker.
Waverly wasnât opposed to letting the royals drink on the occasion. But it was the fact that the other seemed to deliberately break a very simple rule that concerned the blonde. It was a big red flag. His general demeanor was the second one. âThe bite matches the bark so keep that in mind.â She replied, starring the man down for a moment before turning and continuing her walk towards her place. Not even looking at the other she walked up the steps to her villa and unlocked the door. âEverything youâll need is in your room. Clothes in your size and theyâre not ugly so youâre welcome. Things in your shower. All the necessities. If you think of something else, you can let me know. But youâll need to make a good argument for why you need it.â Right as she unlocked the door she turned to the other. Fire in her eyes once more. âMy name is Waverly. You can call me Waverly. I may look exactly like the pirate Barbie of you and everyone elseâs dreams but thereâs more than meets the eye pretty boy and you should keep that in mind if you want to not hate every single moment of your life on this island.â

miles-tulachâ:
There was still a tinge of seduction in the way she called him captain, that hadnât gone unnoticed to Miles. He allowed his eyes to travel her body even if it did bring severe nostalgia to his senses. Waverly always looked amazing, even when she didnât try to and would lounge around his villa wearing some of his clothes and a messy bun piled on top of her head. âDoesnât it always?â He smiled with his eyes moving up to hers. âItâs hard to forget with all the nudes and videos we did together. On rainy days I pull them out and have a binge fest,â he joked, though he did sometimes look at the photos of her. Miles wasnât heartless. He knew he fucked up and would probably always fuck up concerning relationships. Some people didnât do well in them, or at least thatâs how he viewed himself as being. âI heard you got a new royal. Things going okay with him? Iâm merely asking from a business-like standpoint.â Was he fibbing to her? Quite possibly. He knew she was looking after the Swedish crown prince which worried him on two levels, with one being that Miles murdered his younger brother. It would only be a matter of time before he connected the dots if he hadnât done so yet.
Waverly kept her gaze locked on the manâs. It felt like they were walking on glass but in a dance they both knew by heart. âIt does. But you know I like approval.â She murmured, the slightest of playful smirks spreading across her face. âDo you?â The First Mate teased. âI hope they get you off, obviously not as well as I did in person...but at least a little bit of satisfaction is nice.â She hummed. Did it stroke her ego even if she knew he was kidding? Yes it did and she was thoroughly enjoying it. At the mention of her new royal Waverly wanted to groan. He was certainly a handful but she kept her usual cool demeanor on her face. âI did. Things are fine. Heâs certainly an interesting character.â A business-like standpoint? That was curious and it had the blonde narrowing her eyes. âBusiness-like standpoint? Is that what weâre doing now? Checking in on all the royals being watched.âÂ

Isabella carefully took the branch and loosened the strands of hair surrounding it to avoid any pulling of hair if possible, âOh yes, I have so many different hair masks and deep conditioning treatments just to maintain a fair texture,â she agreed. Although the Tulach actually enjoyed the nature around the island, it wasnât hard to understand where the woman was coming from. âThat is a great shade by the way, very eye-catching.â
âAnd thatâs why your hair still looks good.â She shrugged her shoulders. âI see so many people with such damaged hair and itâs disheartening.â The blonde nodded her head. âThank you. I donât really go for subtle most of the time. FAr more fun to catch the eye and use it to your advantage.â

Hanging out in the Common Room of the Tulach House, Isak was trying to find something to keep him occupied. A good book or a movie on one of the TVs seemed like an okay way to spend the day. It wasnât until some short blonde woman addressed him that he was snapped out of his solitude. âMay I ask where we are going? Iâm not one who follows orders without knowing the nature of the game.â Isak smiled cooly at her, wondering what her investment in him was. Could it be this petite little Barbie doll was his watcher? Boy did she get dealt a bad hand of cards. Not only was Isak stubborn, but he didnât easily cower when it came to the pirates. He was more liable to laugh in their faces than to bend a knee to any of them. Then again this woman was attractive. Maybe sheâd provide useful in a way or two. âMy things are back at my room. I prefer to walk around nude when it gets hot out. I am Scandinavian after all,â he gave her a playful wink.Â
âMy villa. Your new quarters to live in so I can keep an eye on you since you seem to have difficulty following simple rules.â She retorted, her hands on her hips as she looked the other up and down. âLucky for you this isnât a game and youâre not in a position to argue so letâs go.â She was already not thrilled about the man. A little back talk was fine because at least it was interesting but someone who made it look like she couldnât do her job? That was unacceptable. âYou can walk around your room nude all you want. I really couldnât care less but you wonât be walking around the rest of my villa that way so keep track of a pair of shorts.â Was he winking at her? She rolled her eyes in response.

âItâs nice to meet you, Waverly. Iâm so sorry I didnât realize you were a First Mate.â Leila said with a small smile. She turned away to wipe down the other side of the counter. When she returned, she asked Waverly, âWould you like another round?âÂ
âLikewise.â Waverly responded politely, or as politely as she felt like responding. When she returned to the counter, she shook her head. âNo thanks. Iâm headed out.â It was just easier to return the glass to the counter than leave it somewhere for them to pick up later. âIâll see you around. Good luck with your night blondie.â

An infirmary - a borderline deserted island has an infirmary? Of course, it does - it has a library and a cantineâŠwhy not a damn infirmary. âItâs not that serious to go to the infirmary.â Then again, he didnât want to disturb the other any more than he already has. ââŠbut itâs probably safer to get it checked - can you point me in the right direction?â As much as it seemed like the other didnât want to be disturbed, Hunter didnât want to be around pirates much longer either. Though now it was only starting to seem that nightmare is inescapable.Â
Waverly furrowed her eyebrows at the other. âNot that serious to go to the infirmary but you want to go to the infirmary?â The answer certainly wasnât clear but she could at least give the man what he asked for. Nodding her head, she started walking to the direction of the infirmary. âYou have a name?â She could at least find the pirate he was assigned to and give them a heads up about his condition.

Listening to the other intently, something inside of the mate broke. Since they last saw one another, Gabe has changed - he really has. Mostly because of the people heâs met and also because heâs olderâŠhe grew up sort of speak. Life taught him lessons, some he had no intentions of learning but didnât have a damn choice in the matter. Shifting his weight between his feet once again, he never broke his eye contact with her. âThe fact you think Iâm happy pretending that - is enough proof we need to talk.â The guy just came back to the island - the last thing he needed was to start up their toxic relationship of having nothing but screaming matches with the other. âI donât want to fight either.â Which is why he was coming up with his next idea.Â
âWhen youâre ready to talkâŠIâm in the west villas - last one to your left. If Iâm not thereâŠtext me and Iâll meet you somewhere instead.â Yes, he wants to move past whatever bad blood they have but no, he wasnât going to force her into talking with him if she didnât want to. Thus, the ball is 100% in her court.Â
Waverly sighed softly. Sure, it was toxic what they had but it was far easier to just ignore until they were both happily back on their ships than to deal with. At least, that was the opinion she carried.Â
âYeah, fine.â She stated. If he wanted to talk, they could talk. But this was certainly not the right setting and they both recognized that.Â
