of course, if the violence and lack of agency from female characters is keeping you from reading the book, that is absolutely fine. however, calling female rabbits breeding slaves is incorrect! females are needed for breeding, however outside of efrafa no characters are kept as slaves for any purpose. even then, i don’t think they’re kept particularly for breeding only. unless i’m interpreting efrafa incorrectly lmao.

although you are absolutely correct on the violence. absolutely no way to wiggle out of that there!

All I remember of Watership Down is that it was very violent and the female rabbits were used as breeding slaves(?) by the male rabbits and this has kept me from touching the book since.

hazel - absolutely would return it. would look me up on facebook to find me so he could return it. 10/10 chance best boy.

blackberry - would return it. would go through my membership cards beforehand though.

fiver - digs through my purse to see if there were any available coupons to use and i don’t blame him. takes the sephora gift card with $28 still left on it.

buckthorn - gives the purse to the bus driver so no one can steal it uwu.

dandelion - considers taking the money out of my purse, but is a good boy and ultimately decides against it.

pipkin - he doesn’t take anything, but he doesn’t give me my purse back anyway. literally doesn’t see it and that’s okay.

bluebell - literally just leaves it on the bus, but unlike pipkin he does see it and he doesn’t give a shit and that too is okay.

holly - steals my licence and my credit card. gives me back my purse.

acorn, speedwell and hawkbit - steals everything out of my bag. gives me back my empty purse. they spend it on doritos and mountain dew.

bigwig - he is not even on the bus therefore can’t return my purse.
