you can tell that even if cassian is clearly disassociating from this traumatic experience he is also hearing, seeing and absorbing everything that is happening around him. tucking it all away for when he does need it.

Everyone can we please get a round of applause for our boy Brasso, who covered for Cassian without any questions asked, sabotaged one of the transport ships so Cassian could get away with Luthen, immediately came to help Bix with Maarva after she fell, actively put himself in the path of armed stormtroopers to give Bix more time to get away. Hats off to Brasso please give my guy more screen time

I love all of Cassian's friends but Brasso gives off such gentle vibes. Like when him and Bix are standing together when the imperials notice her, this guy will always have your back. It's not an easy planet to live on and he doesn't have an easy job and the empire is there but the writers are letting him be so kind and compassionate and I'm loving to see those little moments
