    if you play ANY sort of villainous character - from a pick-pocket to a full-scale serial killer - and i follow you, please know that i’ve come into this FULL WELL what i’m signing up for. i don’t expect you to soften your character for me, i’m not going to complain when they aren’t nice to my characters, and i honestly probably love watching them do what they do. not all characters are going to be the “good guys”, or the type of villain that can be redeemed. not everyone has a tragic backstory that makes them do the things they do - some people enjoy it, others just do it because they can, and for some it’s all they know. yes, there are villains with a soft spot or two - this doesn’t mean they need to change everything. our characters become friends/lovers even though my character is a “good guy”? you keep doin’ you. keep stealing those purses, killing those people, burning those villages to the ground. 

        tl;dr - I DIDN’T FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE I WANTED SOMETHING SOFT AND EASY - you keep bein’ a villain, babe, cause you’re  just as excellent as the heroes.

— Hey!! Sorry for how long I've been absent from the Tumblr sphere; adulthood has been a wild ride & honestly, it would take hours to explain everything that's gone on. I'm not necessarily active on this blog yet, as there needs to be some revamping first, but I am back on Tumblr as a whole!

Unfortunately, I've lost access to a large majority of my accounts, due to inactivity & how wonky this hellsite can get when you've not logged in for a very long time. I also simply do not have time to manage 20+ blogs anymore ; I have no idea how 'baby Kaz' did that at all. Be that as it may, this blog will make a return in due time, & you can find me elsewhere in the meantime.

My new canon multimuse is CldHabiits ; I'm still doing a lot of setup work over there, but several characters & fandoms are live to write with already.

I will also be making a return to FrcmShadcws at some point ; that simply requires a bit of behind-the-scenes work as well, & I haven't gotten that far, as I am prioritizing setting up my new main (the previously mentioned multimuse).

“Of course.” Impulse said to reassure that thanks weren’t in order - they hardly were, after all. This was a role Benjamin wanted to fill more than any. But discouraging Demitri from socially acceptable behaviors and crafted scripts that he had worked on diligently was hardly beneficial. Instead, the soft murmur fell past his lips, fingers moving into Demitri’s hair as the younger curled into his side. 

Soft affections, physically comforting, perhaps, even if the emotionality may be lost on the other. 

“Slow breaths, do you want to talk about it?” With Demitri Birthday, any number of things could be bothering him. Nightmares or intrusive thoughts - or perhaps simply dwelling on the inevitable mortality of humans. 

Gentle fingers ran along his scalp, a soft hum passing his lips as he attempted to calm whatever turmoil was waging in his mind tonight.  

It was a tough life, with the curse this family carried.

But he was always here to help alleviate some of their suffering.

Vibrant eyes fluttered slightly as the counselor’s fingers moved into raven hair, a soft sigh pulling itself from pale lips before he leaned into the gentle touch. Reflex, habit, whatever caused the immediate reaction despite his tensions, it didn’t really matter —

He could always count on Benjamin’s presence to settle his mind, it seemed. He wondered, fleetingly, if having That Person — the only one in the world who could seamlessly calm you down, that didn’t have to work nearly as hard as anyone else did — was normal. Normal for their family, at least; he had long since assumed that near-nothing they felt was actually ‘standard’ to anyone else’s emotional spectrums.

Slow breathes followed at the elder’s request, as calloused fingers curled and uncurled from the fabric of his sleep shirt, absently fidgeting.

❝ Just intrusive thoughts again. ❞   Quietly murmured came the answer, though there wasn’t any ‘just’ about that statement — and he knew that Benjamin knew better. Its intrusive thoughts had an awful track record of being horrifically violent, whether they were directed at other people in the world or himself, and were, given that, always a cause for serious concern.

   But that was why it was here, with him, right?

Another sigh rattled the partial-shinigami’s chest, and then he was cuddling closer, nuzzling into Benjamin’s shoulder as a frown curled its lips.   ❝ They’ll pass eventually. ❞

With any luck, at least. Sometimes they didn’t ‘go away on their own’ like that, but one could certainly hope for the alternative this time.
