Can I just say?

I don’t know if this has been done yet, but if Sokeefe happens and the two of them end up married in the series, Keefe’s last name really should be changed to Foster. 

Shannon Messenger hinted that this is what would happen if they became canon (in Nightfall, I think) because Sophie can’t imagine changing her last name and because Keefe can’t wait to change his. 

But also! Keefe would probably like Foster as a last name not just because it’s Sophie’s, but because he’s been calling Sophie that since they first met (again, I think. My memory of book one is fuzzy), and it would be comforting and familiar to him, just like it is for Sophie. 

And I don’t particularly ship Sokeefe, but the idea of both of them calling each other Foster is adorable.
