How can I show my appreciation to the Philippine Culture?

What’s up? Do you know the Philippine Culture, and how to appreciate it? Well, I am here today to tell you how I appreciate the Philippine Culture. I can show deeper appreciation in the Philippine culture by using our Mother-Tongue Language. For example, I live in Metro Manila, Philippines. Our Mother-Tongue in the Metro is Tagalog. I speak Tagalog in communicating with other People. I also speak some words that were handed down from generation-to-generation. I say “po” and “opo” when I speak to the elderly, adults, neighbors, and even kids to teach them to say this word often. Why? This is because these words are the Filipino way of showing our respect. This is one of the most important ways to show appreciation to our Culture. 

Another way that I can show appreciation to the Philippine Culture is by buying Filipino-made Products. For Example, I have 2 pairs of shoes that I bought. Both were made in Marikina City, which is a Place here in Metro Manila. Through this I show support to our fellow shoe makers who are working hard for these pair of shoes for a living, and also doing it in style! Not all Filipino-made products are low quality. Some products even last longer than the Imported ones! We should give more love for the products of our own. Let us be proud of what we have!

One of the greatest ways of showing appreciation to our Philippine Culture is by exploring the different places, beliefs, and wonders of the Different places in our Country! Our Family once visited the City of Davao in the Davao Region of Mindanao. While in the City, we explored the different types of culture in the Region. I learned that the people of the Davao Region are mostly Muslims! We also explored the different wonders of Davao. We went to the Philippine Eagle Center, which is a place where Endangered Animals like Eagles stay. We explored the different species of an Eagle in that place! When we visit other places in the Philippines, it is as fun as visiting other countries! We should explore the different wonders of our Country, while enjoying!

We Filipinos are mostly known for being one of the most respectful people in the world. We are also known for being loving, caring, helpful and hospitable. Are you showing some or all of these traits? If you do, that means you are a real Filipino! Having these traits are signs that we know our Culture well. Never let our Country down. Defend the for the Philippines. Be proud for being a Filipino. IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES! MABUHAY!
