Regarding bios, how much are we allowed to change things up, say house wise?

Well, it would honestly depend. There are some characters more than others that we feel their houses suit them, but others we aren't as attached to? Also, considering this takes place OUTSIDE of school, I don't think houses are the center of this roleplay. But you can certainly request a change, as long as you provide a reason!

Quick note regarding bio releases tonight --

Yes, I still will be releasing them. But... TODAY IS ADMIN FORGE'S BIRTHDAY! WHEE! So, my birthday present to her, is write the next two batches of bios on my own (-creys to self-), and release them on my own. 

So, in order to get these done properly, rather than releasing them at 10:00 PM EST, I am going to be releasing them at 11:30 PM EST right before I head off to bed. If you've any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask, lovelies!

Hello, lovelies. This post is going to be a bit lengthy, we apologise, but then again don't for we believe there are a few things that need to be squared away.

First off and foremost, we apologise deeply for slacking with bios. Forge has been busy with school and I? Well, I was in the hospital yesterday and was on bed rest today.  But never fear, Gred and Forge are here (+ a butt ton of helpers that will remain incognito) to get this roleplay back on track!

Here's a couple of notes:

Tonight, we will be releasing four bios: 2 Order Members, and 2 Death Eaters. 

Tomorrow, we will be releasing four bios: 2 Order Members, and 2 Death Eaters.

No, we are not 100% positive which ones we are releasing so... we are LEAVING IT UP FOR A VOTE! Take a gander at our bio release schedule (x) (which we know is behind), and tell us who you'd like to see.

They will be released at 10:00 PM EST

Whichever bios are not released, will be tomorrow.

Then, well, we've got to release batch four by Thursday for our last batch is released on Friday (both @ 10:00 PM EST)

THE FIRST BATCH WILL STILL BE ACCEPTED ON SATURDAY @ 10:00 PM EST. YOU HAVE UNTIL THEN TO GET YOUR APPLICATION IN UNLESS WE RECEIVE A RESERVE.

Our lovely, incredible, fantastic helper made them for us! As for where she makes them...I have no clue. I'll make sure to ask her as soon as she gets on! Photoshop, perhaps?

How long can a character be reserved for?

Reserves are just so that we may hold the character until an application is received from that specific applicant. I believe… 48 hours seems appropriate? Anyone can apply. A reserve doesn't guarantee a person a role.

While we both like Selena Gomez, she is far too young looking for anyone that could be involved in the First Wizarding War. Perhaps a student in Hogwarts, but our only in school student at the moment is Regulus Black.

BIOGRAPHY

Though most members of Hufflepuff are loyal, hardworking, fair, and patient, only the first three accurately describe Marlene McKinnon. Once Marlene sets her mind to something, only the Killing Curse itself can stop her. During her years at Hogwarts, she was extremely dedicated to her schoolwork, earning herself top marks. Marlene had a bright future, and could have been anything she wanted; a professor, an auror, probably even the Minister of Magic if she had wanted. But Marlene didn't want to be any of those things. Sure, when she was younger, her dream was to become an auror. But after growing up, and seeing all of the corruption in the Ministry, Marlene simply wanted nothing to do with it. For a while, she wasn't sure what she was going to do with her life. It wasn't until about a year or so after graduating Hogwarts that she had figured it out: she was going to be a member of the Order of the Phoenix. One of her best mates, Frank Longbottom, had told her about it, and Marlene knew that she simply had to join. In the Order, everything was fair. In the Order, there was no corruption. And Marlene loved that, in fact, she needed it.

Even if no one really knows Marlene, the one thing that they know of is her loyalty. Not only her undying devotion to the Order, but also her extreme loyalty to her friends. Growing up, Marlene never had a large family, and those closest in age to her were still about ten years older than she was. For the first few years of her life, Marlene had no one to play with, only having herself and a few dolls. That's not to say she had an unhappy childhood, but it could get lonely at times. When she had first gotten to Hogwarts, she was a bit shy, as she hadn't ever been around so many people, and her social skills were heavily underused. After being sorted into Hufflepuff, Marlene quickly opened up, releasing all of the exuberant energy that she had stored up for the first eleven years of her life. Soon, she had more friends than she could count, and those friends became her family, and they were all she needed. 

Almost the epitome of a Hufflepuff, Marlene lacks one key quality: patience. Marlene is constantly moving around, barely being able to sit still. She lives for action, another reason why the Order is nearly perfect for her. She would never be able to stand a mundane job, such as working in an office, or even being a professor at Hogwarts. So, when the action hits a dry spell, Marlene doesn't know what to do with herself. When it comes to the Order, Marlene is a bit eager, always wanting to be in the core of the action. So, if for some reason they tell her that she can't, she, naturally, goes anyways. Marlene is not typically one to defy authority (or at least the authority of those she respects), but if it prevents her from doing what she believes is right, then she will, no questions asked. 

The War has affected Marlene in an odd way. It's made her lonely. Marlene watches everybody holding their loved ones' hands, conversing with others, and though Marlene has a lot of friends, she still feels like no one wants her there. She's paranoid that she's too clingy and annoying, and that everyone secretly hates her. Though she can be a bit clingy, and her personality isn't quite loved by everyone, Marlene's paranoia is completely irrational. But she can't help but feel that way, like everyone is moving so quickly around her, leaving her behind.

Hello everyone! I would just like to apologize for the EXTREMELY late bio of Marlene McKinnon. I know I promised her two days ago, but with my extremely busy schedule, I left my house the past two days at eight and didn't get home to near ten. Of course, that's no excuse, but I would still like to apologize and say that Marlene's bio (provided all goes well) will be posted this morning, so keep an eye out!

Also, my co-admin and I are taking any and all suggestions for the roleplay in general, characters, graphics, etc. So ask away!
