Update~

Trip today~ And by today I do mean TODAY seeing as I didn't sleep at all tonight. I will be without wifi for tonight and will be busy monday unpacking, so I should reappear between monday evening and tuesday

The thension sorrounded the two like a thick fog, the comical noises eminating from the game were turned out as the battled for the lead. The youngest king had a habit of making faces when he was indulging in game, and now he looked intensely at the screen, mouth slightly amgap with his tongue clenched between his teeth. The finish line was coming up, but it seemed like no matter how hard he mashed accelerate, his princess moved no faster.

And it was when Luigi crossed the finish line that the brunette groaned loudly, controller being tossed across the couch in exaggeration as his Peach failed him. "Damn it!" He cursed, words hissing like a snake. "Victory was in my grasp and I let it go!" Loki pouted. He hated loosing. Victory was so much sweeter.

Between his arrogance in his own lead, and the rather cozy position he had nestled up against his lover, Loki nearly zoned out the fact of his opponents, knowing there was no possible way they could catch up. But it was the notorious blue winged shell that struck him into reality, causing his little princess to fall two spaces from the lead. "You did that on purpose!" Loki hissed toward his elder, knowing in his gut the blue shell game from him, and was now vividly aware of how fast he was catching up.

The youth grit his teeth, returning his focus back to the game, giving his love a playful (if not somewhat disruptive) shove. "Perhaps I have been going to easy on you,  love." The young King exclaimed, obviously not willing to admit defeat, not yet. Not ever.

The race started out rather poorly for his husband, (though as for Loki himself he took the lead without hesitation) and the youth found his aggravation rather adorable. The smile grew on his face as they reached lap two, a lengthy lead was in the mans hands, he almost felt sorry for his love. "I suppose you are now regretting not accepting my most generous offer of luck to you, hmm?"  

He would milk this all the way to the finish line.

He responded pleasantly enough, nuzzling into his Elders touch like an affectionate cat, but a mischievous smirk graced his lips none the less. "Then I will claim that kiss when I am victorious, and not a moment sooner. Seeing as you obviously have everything under control." He knew as soon as they returned to the bed chambers he would reap what he sew, but we would gladly take responsibility for devilish teasing. He was quite proud of it.

The course had loaded somewhere in between the snarky comments and teasing. Loki used observation to his advantage, and was in first place a second after the light turned green, laughing all the while.
