Gun toting idiots that are their own worst enemies. They do nothing but get bad press. The millions of responsible gun owners that hunt and competitively target shoot with traditional guns will lose out due to the NRA supporting military style weapons, open carry, and stand your ground. The gun lobby is rabid from their president to Ted Nugent, to the Tea Party, to ignorant un-American militias.

This makes me so mad... While riding his bike to work, a girl pulled out in front of Sean causing him to hit her car and then she didn't stop to check on him! She drove down the road and then a few moments later decided to come back and check on him. This left Sean laying in the road to be hit by the second driver, who then drug his body, and kept going! He passed away 2 weeks later at the hospital. The guy who hit him a second time never even said anything! The police only found out after the guy took his car to the mechanics to get it fixed, and they found Sean's blood and hair on the bottom of his car. If this isn't all just bad enough, they have recently decided that this was just a "horrific accident" and that neither one of them would be charged! From what I understand, they aren't even getting a traffic ticket after killing a man! I can't even comprehend how corrupt our legal system is right now...

Last nigh was my moms birthday and we all went out to dinner to celebrate. While there we got on the topic of who we voted for on Tuesday and they asked who I voted for (a question I was really hoping to avoid because I voted way different than the rest of my family and I just didn't want to deal with the comments). I answered though and my granddad started making jokes (no hard feelings there, all fun and games). Then my grandmother made the comment "that sounds like it had a lot of Jose's influence" (Jose is my husband). And my mouth just dropped, I was literally in shock for a few seconds and wanted to cry. Once I got my words together I told her "No, if anything I'm the one who convinced my husband to vote for ___". And her reply was "that's ok, I used to vote for who my husband told me to vote for to." I could have cried... I've spent hours researching the presidential candidates and explaining what I've found to my husband and made my decision myself. I just couldn't believe my grandmother would lower me to a mindless bimbo who just did everything my husband told me to. It was one of the worst insults I had ever received in my entire life and it came from someone who I love so much.

Number 2 reminded me of a conversation I had with my husband a few months ago where we were trying to figure out how mermaids would reproduce and it pretty much ended with me asking Siri about "Mermaid Vaginas". We couldn't even read the results that she found because we were laughing so hard that we started crying.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my husband and our water bill is normally less than $20 a month. We also have a dishwasher, washing machine, and I sometimes take hour long showers.

I believe it’s over one month, because $1000 for one month seems super high. 

I live in canada, and in my particular apartment my water is included, so I don’t know what it might cost here to compare

Last night my husband and I were listening to music while working one etsy orders that needed to be shipped out in time for Christmas. One of the songs that came on was in the movie Matilda, and I mentioned it and how the movie was very nostalgic to me and somewhere in my ramblings (it was way past my bed time) I made the comment: "Matilda was just a gateway drug for Harry Potter". I don't know if it was because I was just so tired or what, but I thought it was the most hilarious and also the most clever comment I've ever made.

Quick PSA for Star Wars

I’m a manager for a Regal Cinemas theatre, so I promise you this is accurate info, at least for Regal Entertainment Group theatres. 

If you plan to go and you want to dress up, please check with your theatre if you’re unsure about your costume. 

Masks will not be allowed, and neither will prop weapons. I know those are probably obvious to people, but I’d hate for someone to get dressed up and then get turned away. 

Another big thing that I didn’t even think about–face paint counts as a mask, at least for Regal theatres. If you show up in Darth Maul facepaint we are not allowed to let you in. This is a corporate, safety decision. No exceptions. So please, be prepared and treat your theatre gently, it’s going to be very, very busy.

Please signal boost this, I would hate to have someone do their face up as a character and have to wash it off or miss their movie.

I was also taught that ears come off pretty easy. Just grab, twist, and pull down. The officer also told us to, and I quote, "put it in your pocket because they can us that for evidence later".

• Use the hand you write with.

• Make a fist with your thumb outside, not tucked inside. If it’s tucked inside your fist, when you punch someone, you might break your thumb. The thumb goes across your fingers, not on the side.

• Don’t be like in the movies—don’t aim for the face. Face punches don’t usually stop people, and you can miss when they duck their head or break your hand on their jaw. If you want to get away quickly, or end a fight, aim for the chest, or the ribs. If you really want to do some damage, e.g., you’re being attacked, aim for the throat, which will make it hard for your attacker to breathe for a hot minute.

• When you punch, you want to aim and hit with your first two knuckles. Not the flats of your fingers, and not your ring or pinky knuckles, which can break more easily. You can use your weight, if you’re on your feet, to add wallop, and spring into a punch with your feet and torso.
